Vintage Ortho Lawn Fertilizer Spreader - Cyclone Seeder Co Company
For auction is this vintage Ortho Lawn Spreader. It has an Ortho label on it. But was made by Cyclone Seeder Co who is now out of business. Please look at all the pictures. It is in really good condition as shown. It rolls well, spins well and the opening in the canister opens, closes and adjusts well. Note the picture with the white rotating knob for adjusting the opening in the canister. It's also very clean and without and dents or dings or large scratches, etc. The wheels are also in good shape with virtually no tread wear. It does have some minor scratching along the top of the rim and lower parts of the handle and around the bottom area. There is also some minor rusting. But it's mostly around the foot or under and not causing any issues. You can also see that the adjuster knob is not original, but it does work. And one picture ... moreshows that the agitator is also a replacement but it also works fine. We believe this was made in the late 1980's. Give or take a few years. I have been looking for weeks and do not see an item similar to this for sale or sold so these are obviously difficult to find. Shipping: due to the size. VINTAGE Pull Behind Fertilizer Spreader/Plow Die Cast Farm Equipment LQQK!
Up for auction is a Heavy Gage Die Cast Pull behind Fertillizer Spreader with plow. Pretty Old Toy. It's roughly 7.5 inches at the wheel base. 6 inches from hitch to rear. I can't find a makers mark anywhere. I can't find much online resembling it either. Wheels wobble but can be tightened. The plow has a broken tooth but it's hard to see if you are not looking for it. Maybe some other slight damage but I still think it's pretty nice to right collector. Needs a little work But it certainly was made solid. Probably close to a pound in weight. I'm sorry I don't anything more about it. Found under Grandpa's old house, but none of us kids remember playing with it. If someone knows more and would like to share it with me I'd appreciate it. This is a very nice Ride-On Ultra fertilizer spreader and sprayer. This machine starts/runs/works excellent. It has a Briggs and Stratton motor w/electric start. The motor starts great with no noise or smoke. Recoil start backup. The trans works great with hi/lo and reverse. All the cables and functions work as they should. The machine is all made of stainless steel and built to last. Tires still look new. The hour meter failed so exact hours are unknown however. 2004 Ag Chem, Agco, Rogator 1264 airmax 180 fertilizer spreader, Tractor
2004 Ag Chem. Agco Rogator, 1773 hours, 19062 miles on chassis. Front and rear steering axles, full air ride suspension, along with cab and air ride seat. C9(300hp) caterpillar engine, serviced and ready to go. The base machine runs and operates great, new parts i have installed over the past summer include, new rear steering valve assembly, new rear steering cylinders, new right side tool boxes, new rear tires(used 200 acres) It did have one wheel motor installed under warranty. The machine has all the factory installed options such as gps, variable rate controller and rate controller for box. It is also wired to handle a sprayer bed, all the user would need is sprayer bed and wiring harness. The airmax bed was not used by me, it is missing the air fan assembly and a few hoses that i removed myself. On a scale of 1-10 i would rate the spread ... morebox a 5, as it is still usable, just needs attention. As you can see from the pictures i removed the main pump and valving for the spreader box from the machine and the box is pretty much just sitting on the machine for pictures. I used the base machine for liquid nitrogen application for the past 3 years. Only reason i am looking to get rid of is due to machine no longer fitting our farm program. I am sure i have forgotten parts i have installed or things that i have done, but i can assure the buyer the base machine is in very good condition. A/c works, heat works, radio and all that.
