Elk Forest Farms. Inc. is pleased to offer a used Caterpillar 311 excavator up for sale. I am unsure of the exact year. The machine does not have aux. hyd. The S/N is listed above. The machine is powered by a 4-cylinder turbo Cat Mitsubishi diesel engine. The engine starts well and runs out strong with minimal blowby. We just serviced the engine. All hyd. operations seem to work strong with no visable leaks present. We intalled 2 new front idlers on the machine and a set of good used chains. We repaired the undercarraige, serviced the machine, steam-washed it, and then painted the lower half of the machine. We have the machine on a job right now but it is available for sale at any time. Excavator thumb for 50,000 pound excavator
Up for auction is a used excavator thumb off of a Link Belt LS 3400. This thumb has had plate welded to it in two or three spots see pictures above. It measures 37 and one half inches wide. And 54 inches from the top of the pin hole to the tip of the tooth. the bucket pin holes measure about 3 inches and there is about 20 inches between the ears. The stiff arm measures 50 inches center of pinhole to center of pinhole. The pin hole on the stiff arm measures about 2 inches. This item is located in Portage Ohio 43451. Bucket cylinder is leaking slowly but does not affect operation I have the complete seal kit from Takeuchi for it which will come with the machine.
