Single-edged fullered blade measures 9-1/4” Cut-down from its original 17” length. The reverse blade ricasso is stamped Remington and dated 1917. The obverse ricasso is stamped U.S. with the flaming bomb insignia and number 6 Eagle stamp. It features grooved walnut handles with oil finish and screws and nuts Bird’s head pommel. Original Pre WWI& WWI U.S. M1905 Rock Island Arsenal manufactured 16 inch bright blade bayonet. Bayonet is manufacturer marked on the ricasso RIA(Rock Island Arsenal) Bursting bomb proofed, dated 1907, on reverse marked U.S. and serialized. This bayonet shows little actual service use although was stored many years after being covered in cosmoline. During storage moisture got under the cosmoline in places and caused rusting. I'll leave it to the new owner to decide if he wishes clean the rust off or re-polish the blade. Otherwise a nice bayonet and rare that is still remains in its original bright color as most were later blued, then parkerized, and also cut-down during WWII. Up for sale are the blade. Scabbard and lower crossguard from a vintage, original WWII German dagger. Given the primarily black color of the scabbard and the story of the dagger's history(pulled from a German tank) I believe it is an NSKK dagger as opposed to an SA dagger. However, as stated at the outset, please do your own research prior to considering purchase of the weapon. I was provided a verbal history of the dagger when I purchased it from Rob G. Out of Medford, OR. Rob's full name will be provided to the buyer. ... moreAccording to Rob, this dagger was retrieved from a burning German tank during WWII. The dagger made its way to the states, where was given by the soldier who presumably retrieved it from the tank, to a young kid in his neighborhood. That kid kept the dagger into adult hood and then, when he was in his late 60s, gave it to Rob. Rob did not own the dagger long at the time he sold it to me. I have provided a number of photos to display the condition and the characteristics of the dagger parts. These photos show the dagger blade with the handle and guard removed in order to expose the“makers mark” on the portion of the blade shaft normally covered by the wooden handle. You can see the blade is in very good condition. And still retains all of the original engraved writing. I believe the dagger and scabbard are“early” editions, containing silver/nickel metal for the guards and scabbard trim. Original WWII Japanese Late Type 1944 Shin-Gunto Sword. This is very nice example of the late 1944 style Sword. All intact with a double latch button is signed on both sides of the tang( I am not very good at reading Mei and rather than provide incorrect info I will leave the deciphering to others) It does have the star stamp indicating a Gendatio. A traditional hand made blade. The blades temper line is gunome clearly visible along the length of the blade. The forging grain is masame. T here is some pitting on both sides. worse on one) and a slight bend midway along the blade I have done my best to show the bend in one of the photos. The pitting is not deap and will polish out, but is obvious. There is no rust present. No cracks, no forging flaws no chips. The edge is sharp. The cutting edge is 26" blade width 1 3/8" at the habak ... morei. Over all length in say a is 39" all fittings are original and the numbers match. The Saya is original leather covered lacquered wood and in solid condition. This will polish up to be an excellent robust blade and is if excellent quality. Overall 31" Cutting edge is 21 7/8" The steel is in very good condition with no chips or cracks in it. There are some tiny black marks on a small part of the blade. I would say that you could buff them out. There is a leather case/sheath that fit over the sword. Near the belt ring and handle of the sword the leather is split. It appears to have water spots on the leather as well. Email me with any questions and I will do my best to answer them. It It is getting hard to find hand made swords in this condition. Up for auction is an original WW2 US M 3 Combat Knife. Blade measures approx 6 3/4 inches long. The blade has not been sharpened and is nick free. The blade is marked U.S. M-3 UTICA. The leather grip looks to have been modified and was wrapped with old electrical friction tape. This modification looks to have been period applied. The friction tape makes a much better gripping surface than the leather washers. Especially when wet. The crossguard is nice and tight. The scabbard tip is broken off. Vietnam era CAMILLUS 1971 US Military Aircrew 4 Blade Folding Vest Pocket Knife
Offered here is a Vietnam era 1971 CAMILLUS 4 blade Aircrew vest pocket survival folding knife. Closed length is 3 3/4" and the main blade is a little short of 2 3/4" Blade tang is stamped CAMILLUS 1971. All blades have been used. Blade snap is good and no blade wobble. The can opener blade has been used and slightly bent so it sometimes catches on the screwdriver blade before closing. I have not attempted to correct it. The punch blade is really stiff to open and may need some oil. Otherwise all of the blades are in good used condition. The stainless steel handle is stamped US on one side. It is in good condition. Section of wood handle remains in center hole. This is a RARE and INITIALED Double-Bit Axe from an early settler-family to the Denver region. This massive axe head has a pleasing. Brown patina and a somewhat smooth face. It clearly has not been sharpened too-much over its lifetime. The form/shape of this double-bit is extraordinary. It is exceedingly well proportioned and equally balanced with a proper handle. As can be seen from the photographs. An easily-removed section of the former handle is still lodged in the axe-head opening.
