Civil War bayonet dug artifact relic Z socket blade blacksmith's mark gun army
Very nice Civil War bayonet with blacksmith's marks engraved. Either an 8 or B stamped twice and a small point printed in. This appears a used item. While in nice condition there are lots of dinks and surface scratching on it. It has a Z socket bayonet with a fastener still attached to the base probably used with an Enfield musket-rifle. That is rusted shut. It has blood grooves on the blade for quick withdrawal from body insertion. Size:18 inches whole 15 inch business end. Ca: 1860 but the models had not changed much over many years at this period. This item was not used by General Grant! See my other pre Columbian artifacts. Antique German Sword- etched blade- Eickhorn- for Restoration or Repair The blade is elaborately scrolled and etched with C. Wulfert( cie in Berlin near the hilt. It also has the Eickhorn mark of the squirrel on the tang. The length of the blade including tang is 39" and the top of the blade is also etched. There is another mark on the tang that we can't make out. The brass guard resembles something from the Napoleonic period but we can't be sure. This sword is being sold for restoration or repair. It is obviously missing parts. There is some tarnish and discoloration. Sword also comes with scabbard which is in really rough condition. Please see photos. This is a fantastic piece of military memorabilia. It is a helicopter tail rotor blade to what I believe is a Bell UH-1 helicopter. It has been chromed and laser etched with helicopters and the 10th Mountain Division emblem. There are also pins and patches inset to the wood part of the plaque. There use to be a brass plate under the blade, so there is a little glue residue. It measures 35 by 9 inches overall. Hilte WSC-167 Circular Saw - Used - 7 1/4" - Carbide Blade Included - Runs Good!
Hilte WSC 167- 7 1/4" Circlular Saw With Blade I picked this saw up at a local sale and plugged it in to make sure it runs. It ran well. With no wobble or whining as saws sometimes do when the bearings are out. If it doesn't sell, I will keep it for my own use, as I do a lot of carpentry work. I wouldn't hesitate to take this saw out on a job. The heavy base plate is made of magnesium and will stabilize cross cuts and ripping. The Base Plate can be adjusted for both depth and blade tilt. The blade shows normal wear, but the carbide teeth appear to have many hundreds of cuts remaining. No Instructions or blade wrench are included. The blade has a push button to lock it for easy removal of the arbor nut when it's time to change the blade. The power cord on this saw is 14' 6" long and is original. The plug end looks ... morelike a replacement, but it includes the 3 prong ground and has been attached correctly. You now know as much about this saw as I do.
