Sears Gamefish 3 hp outboard motor
I recently traded a handgun for this outboard motor. But it is too heavy for my inflatable boat. The gentleman who had it took excellent care of it and it cranked up on the third pull when I brought it home, even though it had not been used since the 90s. A grandson tried to paint the tank cover red, and as you can see the paint has begun peeling. The motor was kept in a climate controlled storage building, so there is little if any rust. The carburetor cover was lost at some point and a home-made one was put in its place, as seen on the left side of the motor.

In turning the cranks they feel right to me. And the brakes seem to work. The two spools are not alike. As seen in the photos. The black spool has fuzzy stuff on the edges(which is hard to see in the photo) and there is a small black crusty lump on each side. One of which is seen in the photo. The writing on the spool box can be seen in the photo. The reel box for the 3-100-120 is worn. But strong. The cardboard insert is torn in several places. Here being offered is a nice conditioned early Pflueger 1419 3/4 Templar 450 yard reel This is an early version of when they gave Templars numbers Model What makes it a kind of second generation are the face& tail plates in a mottled Red and Brown This was only done in the earlier days of Pflueger and are exceptionally difficult to find on Pflueger reels Slightly smaller in diameter than the early hard rubber anti reverse model Templar 450(2 1/4" spool W) I have listed but. This spool is wider(2 1/2" W) giving it the 450 designation Again. A rather large reel that believe it or not, were used for surf casting in Hawaii for a few large species whose names I just can't recall Held in hand. It's hard to imagine casting with it In any event. It has a Star drag with balled tips(early style) and early sliding Oil port caps ... moreboth front and rear As seen however; it is unfortunately missing the handle which can be replaced easily enough grasp Open bridge foot Nice even patina and verdigris all over and functions as it should No cracks or repairs but. A very small loss is noted at edge ot top most screw head at the 12 o'clock position on tail plate(pic#3) No over tightened screws cracks either with clean screw slots. No buggered screws It is constructed of German Silver and hard rubber As I said. Lot of 3 used Offshore Angler trolling rods in need of minor repair
This lot contains 3 Offshore Angler trolling rods with roller tips. One is undamaged and ready to fish. The other 2 need minor repair. They are returns/floor models from Bass Pro Shops. I do not know the history of the rods, I can just describe their condition. They are sold AS IS. I will do my best to describe them. Please look carefully at the pictures and ask questions if you have any. Rod#1: Offshore Angler Ocean Master OMSU-4B 6'0" 50-80 lb. Line X-Hvy Action F11. The handle still has the plastic on it and the gimble cap is on it. I cannot find anything wrong with this rod. It appears that it has never been used. Rod#2: Offshore Angler Captain's Choice CC 6035 6'0" 30-50 lb. G10. It appears that this rod has never been used. But it has a couple of issues. The 4th guide from the top is missing the insert and one ... moreof the guide feet has pulled out from under the wrap. The guide needs to be replaced. There are a few spots on the reel seat where the metal is dented, including a spot on the thread that is dinged. The ding does not stop the rings from turning up and down the threaded part. Where the silver part meets the black part on the reel seet, there are dents on each piece about 1/4" long. Other than those two items, the rod is in excellent shape. Rod#3: Offshore Angler Captain's Choice CC 5635 5'6" 30-50 lb. H8. This rod is missing the gimbal cap. This rod also shows significant wear. There are many dings/scratches on the metal of the reel seat. But it functions fine. The foam on the handle is worn and there are some blemishes on the blank. However, the rod appears to need no repair and is ready to fish. Again. I have done my best to describe these rods. All of the damage that I could find is disclosed in the descriptions. I ship the rods in PVC pipe to prevent damage, the $19 that I charge for shipping does not even cover my cost.

All of the mechanical and functional aspects are in very good condition and the reel feels and sounds very smooth. There are no bent or warped parts. There are some abrasions and scratches on this item(as shown in pictures) Someone has scratched their initials(NFM" NFFM" and what looks like"VIFF" into 3 interior sections on the reel(not visible when reel is operationally assembled) and 2 exterior areas(where it is mostly visible under the right light) Please refer ... moreto the pictures(I have documented these 5 areas) The black paint on the interior of the spool is worn and there are several scratches including one of the initialed areas(refer to photo) The top of the drag adjustment knob has 2 small nicks. The other 2 interior areas where the initials occur are approximately 1 inch from the exposed bearings on both sides of the body of the reel. The interior spool side is where it appears to have the"VIFF" There is also the outline of what appears to be some sticker that has fallen off(located next to the exposed bearings in photo) The final areas are on the exterior front and back face of the reel and I did not notice them until I had the reel under the perfect light(I owned this reel for years without seeing this) Also. There is an abrasion on the frame at the bottom of the reel(next to the bottom post) If you are considering buying this reel then you are most likely a serious angler and or collector so please study ALL pictures very closely with the zoom function. The plastic head guard covers almost the entire hoop, so there is no damage to the graphite frame at all. There a few minor scrapes between the grip and the hoop and there are some minor scratches on the head guard. Strung with Gamma TNT at about 60 pounds. Vintage Fly Fishing Rod/Fenwick FF85 8-1/2' 3 3/4 OZ w/tube Super condition
Offering a super Fenwick Feralite. Model FF85, 8-1/2 ft, 2 pc, 3-3/4 oz. fiberglass fly rod with the original aluminum carrying case. The cloth case is gone. The rod is in exceptional shape. The eyes have no damage and the wrapping is in great shape. The cork handle has never had a hook in it and is damage free. The feral attaches well and holds nicely. The action is live. The line rating tag is still on the rod but I couldn't upload enough pictures to show everything. My guess is made in very late 50's or early 60's. Defininely before mid 1963 as that was the year the 5 digit zip code came out and Fenwick's address doesn't have that.only Long Beach 4, California. Considering that, this rod is at least 50 years old but looks like it was manufactured last week except the line rating tag is slightly loose and needs regluing ... moreon the top edge. That's not bad for a 50 year old rod. There is a dent or two in the aluminum case as can be seen in picture 11. The serviceability is in no way impaired. Feralite had not yet been patented when this rod was made as it says patent pending behind the word Feralite. Serial number is C 16723. Exceptional piece but I am downsizing and can't tramp the streams as I once did so here's a nice opportunity to own agreat rod. Low start. The bamboo in this rod has no breaks. Splits or delamination. The windings, ferrules and line guides are all in good shape as can be seen in the photos. The cork handle is in good condition with only one divot at the reel seat end. The only negatives I could find is that the tip has a slight fished bow to it as can be seen in the photos. When laid flat the bow is about 3/4" The other negative is that it needs a terminal line guide. As you can see from the photos the terminal end is missing right at the winding so there is very little loss in length. The 9' measurement that I use in the description is the actual length that the rod is now without the tip. Cabela's LST Spey 11'3" 6wt Fly Rod This LST Spey rod is in good condition overall. There is one run of small scuffs on the handle section of the rod. Other than that there isn't much in the way of scratches/scuffs. The handle is in great condition, the butt handle does have some cork missing from the edge. Three small x's were marked on the reel seat to easily identify where the reel foot enters the reel seat. Original Cabela's rod tube and rod sock included. Phillipson Paragon fly rod 8 1/2' - 5 bamboo 3 section very nice original cond.
Today I purchased this Phillipson Paragon fly rod at an estate sale. I don't know really anything about it other than I have read that they fish very well. And I know they were made in the fifties. This is a 3 section 8 1/2' 5 HDH. It also has what looks like a small b with an 8 in front of the length designation. It is in very good overall condition for the age, and does not appear to have any real damage or problems other than very minor scuffs and scratches. It was obviously owned by someone who liked to use it, and it has been well used, but probably has a lot of life left in it. The ferrules seem tight, all the guides are still tightly wrapped, and I do not see any cracks or repairs. I can send better pics too if any one is interested in seeing it in a close up shot with better light. Thanks for looking!
