This is a Vintage Master Appliances Fluorescent Light test kit with wooden case. The Tester probe. Has No.6 and 20 W 115V Stamped on the back end of it. There is also an Industrial devices voltage indicator Pat# 2644134. It also has a metal pen like probe and 3 different light ends with small light bulbs to test the actual fixture. It comes in a very sturdy case, Great for collectors. Problems and Condition This is a vintage used item. This kit has NOT been tested. I am not sure how it works. It has a small tray that slides out as you can see. In good used condition- a couple of tiny dings in the metal but not major- the base is an early plastic and has no chips or cracks. There is a twisted wire underneath that you can see in the last picture that is frayed. We don't know if it is complete and we did not plug it in- needs a good cleaning. Working Master Violet Ray medical device No. M 66 from the early twentieth century. This is a pretty cool device that works flawlessly. When the electrode wand is installed and you turn the switch on the base a couple of turns the wand starts glowing and if you touch it to your skin it feels much like the charge you get from a TENS machine. The switch is not a simple on-off device. You must give it a few turns before it energizes the coil. It appears be some sort of rheostat. The device itself is supposed to work on the same principle as a Tesla Coil and they were originally used for skin conditions and pain control. The FDA went after the company for making too many claims with no instructions on how to use the machine for the listed conditions and no proof of efficacy. This one has been in my wife's family for at least sixty years. Maybe longer. It comes in the original box and has the one and only attachment it came with. This vintage Presto book is in great condition with no stains. Smudges or tears. As you can see from the photo there is a small curl to the lower right corner. There's a little bit of yellowing on the back side of the spine. It is chock full of delicious recipes- there are 72 pages of recipes alone, plus instructions on appliances, and a temperature and time table. Not only is it useful but this book would look great in your kitchen!

Vintage"Burger Master" hamburger patty maker. Manufactured by Patented Appliances of Old Saybrook Ct. Patent number 2150659 filed Dec 16. 1936"Hamburger Steak Forming Machine" Pretty much steampunk in design and operation, one fold down handle operates the sliding forming mechanism and also automatically ejects the formed patty and controls downward pressure to form the next patty. In operating condition but is rather stiff and probably needs to be mounted down to a tabletop. Rare, I have never seen another one nor have I found another in my research on the internet. A great addition to your collection or fill it up with your favorite ground meat product and be the hit of the next tailgate party or backyard barbeque.
