Cutaway Horse Skull Veterinary Medicine Victorian Taxidermy Display Medical NR!
Template Cutaway Juvenile Horse Skull Reveling Tooth Roots For sale is a real skull from a juvenile horse. I don't know anything about this horse from when it was alive. But the skull does tell a bit of his/her story. The left side of the skull has had the tooth roots exposed, while the right side has been left intact for comparison. As you can see, most of the lateral incisors have yet to break the surface and currently still have the baby teeth attached. Also. It appears that both baby premolars#3 on the mandible have recently fallen out as these teeth are slightly shorter than their neighbors. Both of the third premolar teeth on the maxilla still have the baby tooth capping the incoming adult tooth. There is also one wolf tooth on the upper left side. All incisors and some of the premolars are glued in place, however, a few of the ... moremolars can be removed: Great for teaching. This skull makes a great curiosity/Victorian taxidermy/natural history display and is a beautiful piece of natural art. Perfect for any bone/oddities collector or for a veterinarian to be used to teach clients about the importance of maintaining proper dental health. Hopefully this horse can continue to inspire and teach long after he/she has passed on. Condition: This skull is solid and well cleaned. There is little to no odor left. However. Please note that this is not an A1 perfect condition skull. There are a few small breaks, a few bone chips missing, and a few areas where some paper-thin bone has broken. However, that being said, I don't think these'flaws' distract from this piece much at all. Please review all photos and ask about anything you are unsure of. Antique Veterinary Prescription Bottle - Nice Bottle, Paper Label
Up for bid is a nice old prescription bottle from a Silverton(Oregon) veterinarian's office- I found this at an estate sale. This brown glass bottle's paper label shows some age-related wear and fading(see my photos for detail) But you can still read the name/address/phone number of the vet. It's quite old, as there haven't been 4-digit phone numbers in a long, long time! It measures about 5" tall and 1-7/8" in diameter.
