Neat veterinary medicine bottle with labels for Pratt’s Veterinary Colic Cure from Pratt Food Co. Philadelphia and Toronto. Bottle has three labels. Front label has multi-color image reading“Pratt’s Veterinary Colic Cure” in center. Rear label includes directions for use and ingredients“Alcohol 60 ½ percent, Cannabis Indica 12 ½ percent; Chloroform 25 percent. The original neck label is also intact and states that the bottle contains two doses. The labels are in very good condition with bright colors and minimal wear. His name appears on the inside cover. This is an old vintage 1972 yearbook from the University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine in Columbia. Missouri. This hardcover yearbook measures approx. 8" x 10-3/4" and has 112 pages. I don't see any student inscriptions or signatures in this yearbook. Please review the photo carefully. Cover has bumped. Worn corners and a little edge wear. Cover surfaces have some scuffing and soil. The gold type and graphics on the front cover have dulled. Page are smooth with sharp corners. NO writing anywhere. NO musty odors. Vintage Dewitt & Herz Steel Syringe / Hypodermic 30 CC Large Veterinary or Other
Up for auction we offer this vintage steel syringe(may contain other metals but appears to be stainless steel) 30 CC Syringe in good condition. This thing is a monster with the current hypodermic needle attached and we've not been able to ascertain what it's exact use is/was. The size makes us think perhaps veterinary or Military Medical but we are uncertain. It measures almost 11" long with the needle attached. The plunger shows graduations from 10 CC up to 30 CC on one side and OZ and 1/2 on the other so whatever you were to put in this could only have limited measurements. There are no marks for say 15 CC or 3/4 OZ. Still a very neat precision made piece of equipment for the collector or perhaps a farmer needing to medicate large livestock. Found in a storage unit in North Central Indiana and had been in storage at least 13 ... moreyears. Neat Item just s a conversation piece as we've found out. This is a very nice vintage veterinary automatic implant gun. It comes with the original box which is in excellent condition. Considering it s age. I'm putting the age in the 1950s range. There is only small stains and small ink printing on the top and a bit of tearing and staining on the underside of the box. The corners are not broken down and it is very sturdy. The gun itself is in excellent shape also. It is stainless steel. Although the message on the lid top calls it rust-proof metal. It measures 6 1/2" x 6" The gun and three stainless steel needles are imbedded in a very sturdy styrofoam. The original directions sheet is inside the box and is also in excellent condition.
