Up for auction is a Hitachi U-2001 Spectrophotometer. This item powers on and runs through all of it's self tests. It needs calibration and we are not experts in this type of equipment so we cannot verify that it is in a full working condition. There is white residue on the inside of the machine and there appears to be some screen damage. There are also scratches. Scuffs and stains on the outer casing but none of this damage appears to be anything other then cosmetic. I have a used quartz cuvette for sale. I believe it is a Hellma 283 10mm path length cuvette for spectrophotometry(2 polished windows. 2 rough sides) This is an extra I got that I don't need. It looks to be in good usable shape. The windows are clear and look to be scratch free. However, there is a chip on the top and bottom that you can see in the photos. Also some marker residue on the bottom gives the quartz a brown reflection. A little cleaning should be able to remove that. I don't have it pictured. But I might have an extra cap to go with it.
