I am not familiar with the use of the machine and have only tested it to power on. I called the siui service department and they recommend that it be sent to them to be cleaned and to change the keyboard battery. I have to boot it up using an external USB keyboard and mouse. So, I know at minimum it needs a keyboard battery which I will not attempt to change myself due to the risk of damaging the computer board. I was quoted the price of $200 for the cleaning, and general servicing is the unit which included the changing of the battery. It was previously used by a University.
