As you can see there are two mirrors to capture natural or reflected light. The larger is two sided, both sides with a bit of separation from the glass discs. The dials are all still functional and hold tight tolerance. The handle is made of copper coated brass and fossil scale. Put together it measures 8” Long. The box is Walnut with only one small flaw on the bottom, see picture) and the clasp still locks.
