But for all I know it doesn’t work with any of their products. The turret appears to be in good/used condition and it does rotate the way it should or the way that I think it should anyway. But scopes in general are not my thing. It’s about 3” in diameter. Maybe a bit larger than that. What I think is distinctive about it is the mount on the back side. Which is flat. All the other turrets I took the time to peruse appear to have an angular mount. As we have no idea who the manufacturer is(your input on that would be appreciated) I will allow any buyer to return it within 48 hours of receipt. It is untested other than as described and NO warranty is offered. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. A very nice 28mm 5.6 Summaron. A rare lens. Only about 7000 of these were produced. This lens is very pretty and has that softer, satin matte of the era. Very minor, very very minor marks barely visible on barrel. Glass appears perfect with 4x glass. Under 8X very minor light clean marks show up under harsh cross light. Under 16x, you can see these more clearly, but again, they are very very light. A tiny half moon flaw can also be seen, only under 16x. I can't do the math, but it has to be very very small and minor. I have been doing photography for more than 35 years, and 15 years of it were full time professional photojournalism work. My opinion on this lens is that is that it is sharp, contrasty and has decent color for a lens made years ago. If I needed a very small, cute, 28mm lens for my IIIg, and I needed one I could trust, I ... morewouldn't not hesitate. This is the original model manufactured in Rockleigh. NJ by E. Leitz(as the plaque on the model clearly states) The Marchioni version came later, or so I am told. Made of brushed aluminum it will extend to 5 ft, 10 in, collapsed to 30 in. and weighs 5 lbs. The center post can be reversed so as to use low camera angles. This tripod is in excellent condition with no dings and all treaded joints work well. There are a few slight marks on the tubing and the blue fabric on top the head has a few tiny raised marks that will not effect the secure attachment of camera to tripod(see picture)

Lens is in 100% functional condition. Barrel very clean. Focus and aperture turn like butter. It's ready to shoot with! There are two issues with this lens: There seems to be traces of prints on the front and back elements. Very very light only visible under bright light. This is a very minor issue and gentle cleaning should eliminate it(we did not attempt to clean it.The bigger issue is there seems to be a short human hair caught inside the lens in front of the rear element. See the last image in the set. This is not on the surfaces but trapped inside the lens. At first we thought it was a scratch but it must be a hair based on thickness and the way it curves inside the lens.we have attempted to photograph it in one image but it is very hard to see. This should have no impact on photographs, but we mention it anyway for collectors. This ... moreis a great opportunity for a photographer who wants this fully functioning lens to shoot with immediately, and wants to save a little money vs buying a museum quality specimen. Here are two Leitz Leica Metal Rear Lens Caps for M39 screw mount lenses. These satin chrome(not silver) metal caps have slight signs of use. I believe they are Leica made based on the items I found them with. I also got the same opinion from a camera store owner who deals in Leica equipment. They have flat black paint on the inside. They weigh 16 grams each.
