Superb Leica DMIL Inverted Microscope with Video Camera
This is a superb Leica DMIL inverted microscope. It's in excellent condition apart from a few small marks as shown in the photographs. Optically and mechanically. I can't find anything wrong with it. The high eyepoint eyepieces are Leica 527002 and 527003, which can be focussed, 10x/ 20. Their tubes can be moved together or apart to suit the viewer's intra ocular distance. The rare trinocular head carries a Sony video camera, but, as I don't have the power supply for this, it's untested. There is only one objective, a Leica x5 and there is room for 3 more on the turret. Below the head is a spacer with provision for a filter or analyser. The focussing is as it should be and the light source, which can be moved up and down its column is a 6 Volt, 35 Watt, running from a 100 to 240 Volts mains supply. The light source is ... morecontrolled by a switch at the rear right hand side and a rheostat at the front of the right hand side. There is a condenser marked 0.36, S55, number 521 230. There is also a slider with phase contrast annuli No. 1 and No. 2. with an empty hole between them. In all. A fine piece of equipment which is a pleasure to use. I would much prefer it to be collected from Didcot, or I could deliver it for 50 p per mile. If it has to be transported by courier or post, it will nee to be packed with a great deal of care, so I estimate that postage and packing within the U.K. would be about £60 or if it goes abroad, up to £125.00, depending on its final destination. This is a superb Leica DMLB microscope discussion tube L3/20. 505073, with a binocular head 501501 and a pair of high eyepoint HC Plan 10x/20 eyepieces, 507801 and 507802, the latter being able to focus independently. The microscope in the photos is for sale in another sale. There is a socket underneath, near the support leg, for a power supply for the illuminated pointer, but I don't have this. The tube can be used opposite or next to the microscope user. Postage and packing within the U.K. will be £18.00 and anywhere else in the world up to about £85.00, depending on the final destination.

This unit is being sold to make room for new equipment in our lab. We purchased this system new and used it for one project(about 6 weeks total) and it has been stored in our lab under a cover ever since. A s seen by the pictures. The entire setup is in excellent condition, and honestly looks like it is brand new. All functions on the controller work properly during both manual and automated operation. All mechanical features of the microtome function properly and all movements of the cantilever are very smooth/fluid as intended. There are no signs of wear, rust, or damage anywhere on this piece of equipment. The stage, cantilever arm, cantilever clamp, chuck, chuck holder,and knife holder are ... moreall in excellent condition, and all adjustment screws and control knobs turn very easily, as intended. There are two complete chuck/specimen holder assemblies that are included with this unit(see pics) The Leica StereoZoom 6 binoculars/ microscope is also in excellent condition. The binocular assembly can be raised. Lowered, and pivoted left and right. The zoom range is 0.67X- 4.0X. The binoculars also have a pair of Bausch& Lomb 15X W.F. eyepieces currently installed. The binocular assembly is mounted on sliding rails to allow for easy front to back adjustments using the knob on the left. The binocular assembly also has two fluorescent lights that are mounted directly above the stage to illuminate the specimen being cut. The entire light/binocular assembly is also mounted on a pivoting/swing arm so it can be quickly moved out of the way for easier access to the chuck and stage. There is also a telescopic light that is built into the lower part of the sliding Leica stage. The light turns on automatically when the telescopic assembly is elevated above the stage. This listing is for Used Reichert Univar Met Polarizing Microscope. This is professional research polarizing microscope with universal microscope features which are better than many Leica. Leitz, Zeiss, Olympus and Nikon similar brands. The microscope is Universal and in present configuration has multiple light sources(100W halogen and 200W mercury lamps are on board plus multiple slots available for external spectral lamps) Among the other features are the set of interchangeable filters embedded into light path, mixer and switch box of light sources, retractable heat filter, additional slot for standard Reichert sliders. The microscope is capable of bright/dark field observations with full set six bright/dark field objectives included into the nosepiece and capable to function in the reflective/transmissive mode. Included are 5x, 10x, 20x, ... more50x, 100x(0.9NA Dry) 100x(1.25NA oil) EPI objectives and 10x wide field eyepices. Also included is switchable phase contrast measurement set and the microscope is capable of DIC observation and analysis but DIC slider is not on board. The microscope is equipped with polarization measurements and analysis kit: retractable analyzer, wave plates and standard 6x20mm slot for sliders embedded into nose piece as well as two camera ports for stereo picturing. Those ports at present occupied with Polaroid instant picture camera for paper pictures and standard 36mm Leica cameras for filming.
