McCoy Hot Plate "Serve Guests... Likes My Kitchen Best"
This is for a very nice hot plate wall hanging. It has a wooden frame around it. The pattern is one that McCoy Pottery used on some canister jars they made and also some other items they made in this pattern. The hot plate is unmarked. My guess is that the pottery part of this was made by McCoy for another company who added the wooden portion& then sold it under their name. It's in good shape with no damages. This measures 11" tall by 7" wide. The actual measurement of the pottery plate part is nearly 6" in diameter. This would make a wonderful addition to any collection. On top of being clean and in perfect working condition th is unit has a nice art deco style so it will look good in any decor. It is a Samson United 533-1 Electric Grill/ Hot Plate. It does not look like it was used at all. The chrome finish is in mint condition. The original power cord is in mint condition as well free from any signs of again at all. Otherwise in good condition. The ball finial to the lid is secure, but the small hole to the underside of the lid would indicate that it was once screwed on. HOT WATER URN HEAVY SILVER PLATE PORTER BRITANNIA& PLATE COMPANY | TAUNTON MA CIRCA 1859-1870s What a lovely thing this is! Amazing engraving all over the whole piece- from the basket weave bands on the lid to the wavy. Watery look of the body to the ornate monogram and cartouche of leaves and arabesques! Gorgeous! In very nice condition, there are no prior repairs or resurfacing. Monogrammed JBT(I think) and apparently all hand done. Original wooden insulator on spout handle. Stamped on bottom P.B. P. Co along with pattern and item numbers. It's only flaw is that there is a very slight impact bruise on the body- just barely noticeable when the light catches it just right. Very clean inside and out. Measures 16.5" to top of the finial and about 9" from handle to handle.

Overall length including the handle is 5 1/2" This server has a hinged lid with a wood knob along with a small wood handle. On the bottom is a Gorham Elmwood Plate mark along with the number 07675. Above the trademark is the name. Muschenheim. The bottom is also marked 1/4 PINT. CONDITION: As you can see in pic. This hot water server is in Very Good Condition! I have not seen another quite like this with a Warming Stand and am sure it is a Rare find indeed. The Chocolate Pot is a of a very elegant form and features a nice Carved Wood Side Handle with the Warming Stand featuring lovely designed Legs. The Pot is in very good all original condition for the age with some denting to the base rim though this is covered up when on the display stand and otherwise no wear to the base metal. Other dents and no cracks, holes or repairs. The Burner top is on quite tight, I am sure someone with stronger hands than I can get it loose and it also shows a small rim dent which I am sure could easily be smoothed out. The Pot is fully marked on the bottom Crossed Arrows and A1 which denotes the finest Silver Plate of the period. The Pot is a great size for modern use standing 7-1/2" tall on the Warming Stand or 5-1/4" tall by 6" long across the Handle or 3" across the Base of the Pot. Overall this is a very elegant piece for use or display and I doubt you will find another quite like it up for auction any time soon
