Almost all the forceps are NOS still in their plastic wrap, they are marked Tarno and there are different types. The clamps are marked"Made in USA" with a symbol. The brace with green pads is marked Almore. Could not find a marking on the nose piece which I believe is some kind of respirator with an air valve. Some of the syringes are marked Astra. Antique Wocher Tonsil Compression Forceps Looks great paired with a guillotine tonsillotome! These German Wocher forceps would have had hand-stiched cotton pads over the open ends. The instrument would be inserted in the mouth in an open position and were slowly closed over the tonsil to be surgically removed. The tool has a rachet to hold the forcep in place. The purpose of this instrument was to prevent the tonsil and fluids from entering the throat and to reduce bleeding. This is a super example with 95% chrome intact. Rare to find one this nice. Wow!
