Ambu 186-000 Intubation Trainer-CPR Training with Manikin-Dummy Head
This unit is in good physical condition. I could not figure out how to test it and it is missing a few things: missing a lung. The bag and a couple other important pieces. You can always go to a medical supply and get an intubation kit and use it to replace the one that came with the unit. The switch to turn the alarm on/off for the dental pressure sensor was broken. I repaired it and replaced the 9V battery. I did not know how to intentionally put too much pressure on the teeth/jaw and was afraid of breaking something. I believe it will work fine. If there is a broken part that needs to be replaced. Or if you want to replace the missing lung, you can contact Ambu or a medical training supply place. I would provide a link, but the greedy imbeciles at eBay think I'm trying to sell parts from Ambu. Sold as-is due to a couple missing parts ... moreand no manual. Nothing appears to be broken. She looks like an older version of the Simple Susie Simon available at Gaumard Scientific Company. Of course, she is an older version, but she's been taken care of. There are some scuffing here and there, but not bad at all. I took the artificial skin(it was like a soft tape) around both her biceps off. All of her joints are good, articulate as they should and functions just as new. If there are any repairs, it's hard to tell. One of the stamps on her feet indicates"GSC 1994" while one on her back/buttock area indicate"GSC 1997" which IS Guamard Scientific Company) Opening her up, it's apparent that some of the original hardware is still intact. There are a few tubes running from the head ... morethat look like they attach to where reservoir bags should be. There are no reservoir bags or bladders and such, but I was able to find a manual for one very similar to her; maybe internal parts are still available? For whatever you find to use her for, she'd be a great companion. And an AWESOME prop! I've got another one just like her for my Halloween props, so this one is up for sale. I'm a modest person, so I'll send her with the change of clothes you see her pictured in. They're new, never worn. She's anatomically correct. So be warned as you browse through the pictures. She measures about 20" long and she comes just like you see her. Her head tilts back, and she has a extra tummy covering, I don't know why. It appears to snap, but hers is loose.
