This item is a charming. Hand crafted, large, stuffed, old-fashioned, country Santa figure with porcelain face and hands. This Santa would be perfect sitting on a mantle with his legs dangling over the edge. Santa has a porcelain face with rosy cheeks. White eyebrows and pale gray/blue eyes. His mustache and beard are fluffy. Soft and creamy white. He is wearing a deep wine red ribbed sweater with tan faux fur trim. His hat is made of the same sweater material and has an antiqued gold jingle bell at the tip. Santa’s pants are a deep green corduroy with fur trim cuffs. Santa’s vest is a deep red and green plaid material with a white edging trim ... morewith brown edge stitching. And Santa is wearing black plastic boots with a raised buckle. Santa is holding in his right porcelain hand an adorable little girl blonde color teddy bear with deep red sweater with 2 green stripes and a tan knit skirt. In his arm behind the bear are a bundle of twigs and a pair of snowshoes. In Santa’s left arm is a Christmas tree decorated with berries and pinecones with its base wrapped in a burlap ball. Santa’s arms and legs are soft and padded. But have a wire inside so that they are poseable. His arms can be moved a bit. But with limitations since he is holding items in them. Description ANTIQUE SET 7 CHRISTMAS TREE CANDLE CLIP ORNAMENTS Wonderful set of seven embossed/stamped tin metal antique candle holder clip ornaments measuring from about 1-1/2" to 1-7/8" long. Five feature spring action clamps mounted to a wax catch drip skirt with candle mount- three are simple stippled clamps with a ribbed skirt and the other two are more unusual geometric designs- one washed in bright pink. The other muted gold. Of the last two, one is fitted wit a sturdy hook and clamp end marked MADE IN ENGLAND(possibly for holding a small toy or even stocking from a tree branch, and the last reminds me of a skirt lifter- it is brass with curved arms and clam shell ends- marked GERMANY. This is for the old Christmas Tree Stand you see here. CAMPBELL HAUSFELD. Not sure the age. But I am assuming from the 1930's or 1940's, maybe earlier. Possibly more recent, but I do not think so. Heavy cast iron legs, I believe, with a tin cup in the center to hold the tree trunk. You see the words"THE CAMPBELL HAUSFELD CO, HARRISON O" on each leg. Each leg is about 13" long. You can see that the cup has some dents, and the green paint came off the cup when I tried to clean it. If you were to repaint thie stand, either all green or red and green. You would have an awesome collectible! The top diameter of the cup is 3.5" and it is 5" tall. The photos show the condition og the piece.
