Cyclone Metal Hopper Seeder Made In USA This seeder is from my grandfathers shed we are cleaning out. Old but still works great. Hopper type seeders are easier to use than bag seeders. It is easier to load, easier to check on seeds left and easier to empty. Some surface rust on the spinner and hopper, it could be cleaned up and painted or just use it as is, I have not cleaned it up, you are getting it just as it is dirty from years of shed storage. Here is a Tyler fertilizer spreader it is a 4 ton single spinner 50 ft spread. I hooked it up everything turns and works fine but it could use some attention. It has some rust as it should have since it is a fertilizer spreader I did not see any rusted through spots on the main frame a good sandblasting and painting would do it some good. The bearings at the rear of the of the conveyor are out and should be replaced but it turns and works as it is. The rear bearings on the gate will also need replaced. The drive unit on the spreader works good and engages and disengages as it should. The tires seem to be in good shape. The hooks are stamped to show that they're Alloy Cradle Hooks, the tag on the chain shows that it's Herc-Alloy 800(I believe 800 is the grade, but am not positive) that the size is 7/8 x 7 ft(I'm not sure if the"2" next to it means 2 inches or something else) also lists the serial number. And a wooden board at the bottom of the bag. The seed drops through a hole at the bottom of the bag and into the seed scattering mechanism. As the farmer walks along he or she turns the handle of the mechanism and the four wings of the spinning mechanism fling the seeds out evenly in all directions. It's a great classic tool, used for hundreds of years. This one is very used, but the cog mechanism still works well and turns easily Measurements: the board that forms the bottom of the bag measures 13" x 6" and the bag that holds the seed is 11" deep. Condition: There's a lot of damage on this p iece. The bottom of the cloth bag is ... moreworn out. Someone tried to repair it and extend the use with tack. Duct tape and some cloth tape.
