ATTRACTIVE DECO STYLE PALE BLUE PRESSED GLASS VASE - SLIGHT A/F
This is an attractive looking glass vase. Made in the Deco style in pressed pale blue glass with a tulip shaped bowl attached to a curved rectangular base. I'm not sure who the maker is, unfortunately. It is not in perfect condition. There are a few tiny nibbles on the underside of the top rim and on one side where the lines from the top rim curve down to the point, the point itself is quite rough. The vase has a top diameter of four and three quarter inches(12 cms) and stands six inches(15.2 cms) high.

This lot offers the necklace that measures 16 inches long. There are 39 very interesting beads on this metal necklace. There are no two beads that are alike. There was a great deal of handiwork in applying the colors. The roses, and the design. The colors that were applied to the beads are pink, gold, dark blue, green, and yellow. These handmade beads are not entirely equal in size and each varies with its applied art! The beads were on the rather thick cable shown in the photographs when I got them. I really do not believe they were originally on this metal cable. The metal strand does not seem to be as finely crafted as the beads. The beads do not entirely fill the chain. It looks like three or four more beads could have been on it. This bare cable would not show if someone were to wear this as a necklace. Fine White Pale Celedon Jade Vessel Bowl Brush Washer w Key Design
This is a fine antique Chinese white to pale celedon vessel with a carved key design all around the rim. It may be a brush washer or ink pot, not sure, it is finely carved with a raised base and cut in border on the top. Has a russet vein through one side. The size is 2 1/2" by 2 1/4" by 1 1/4" high. There is a slight indentation on the inside rim but I think it is original and not a chip, it is very small. Had a small rosewood stand but one leg is missing, I will include it in any case. Originally came out of a fine estate where most of the asian items were turn of the century or much earlier. Please refer to the photos and ask questions. This auction is for an antique slightly hand-gathered ruffle trim salvaged from a silk velvet collar of the Victorian era. It is in a beautiful shade of pale lilac/lavender and the silk's texture has a subtle shimmering quality. It is not a flimsy silk. But of substance and does not show any signs of brittleness or deterioration. There are no major holes, rips or tears, aside from some discoloration marks in areas as can be seen in photos. This still does not detract, in my opinion. This measures approximately 28" 51" across top-to-bottom edge. The width is mostly 2.5" However, it tapers off toward each end;at the 7" mark on either side is where it begins to decrease in width. There is also a seam-line on either side at the 17" mark measured from bottom edge. There is a 1/4" hemline which is hand-embroidered ... morewith silk threads in a shade of violet purple. Light Orange Bakelite Chick Napkin/ Serviette Ring This is a pale orange chick with a mid brown beak. He measures 2.5" in height from base to top of head and 3" in width from beak to tail. The inside diameter of ring is 1.25" Under close inspection there are a few red marks to the bottom of the inner ring. With my nail I think these are small scratches from use. Don't know why they have red colouring, perhaps stored next to red napkins? I inherited a collection of these napkin rings from a Great Aunt and have decided to try selling them individually. I can't be sure of exact date but would estimate between 1930's- 1950. From family recollections. If more than one item is purchased postage will be combined.
