Up for auction is a vintage white Bullard 502 hard boiled fiberglass hard hat. This hard hat is used and there iPads signs of use. But overall it is in pretty nice shape. The dihedral suspension is there and it even has something I have not come across, a chin strap, which would come in handy if you were bouncing around operating equipment or something, but you can remove the strap if you wish. Light brown FibreMetal Chester PA hard hat with all the original inside bells and whistles. Condition: This is definatly one that was used alot in battle somewhere. There is a white paint schmeer near the middle of it(see photo) Scratches and small scuffs throughout, tiny crackles in the paint in places, but not the material which is solid. The inside is a little dirty, the edges have some chips. Yet, I don't see any reason why you couldn't use this today if you wanted. Very rugged looking.

VINTAGE White MSA FIBERGLASS CONSTRUCTION HARD HAT IRONWORKERS CHOICE
Up for bids is a neat older Safety Hard Hat. MSA marked on both hat and suspension. It has scuffs and scratches from use but is otherwise good shape. There is a chip and scuff on the underside of the brim. The suspension has all clips intact and in place and is adjustable. There is a trap sticker on the front. A bit dirty inside but when I wiped away the dirt on the logo it says Hard Boiled. So this is a classic Bullard brand hardhat helmet, with liner. Probably large or medium size(it does not fit my XL head) measures about 11" long and 9" wide, weighs a pound, probably fiberglass. I will insure the shipment. I see no cracks or real damage, just dirtying and scratches.

Nice. Old Bullard hard hat. This came from the home of an 82 year old woman, whose husband used this for- well, we're not sure! But it's probably from the 60's. Great, used condition. No cracks or chips, very minor scuffing on the very top, inside band quite clean and sturdy. They really made these well! The red tape was probably applied by the owner, and am not sure what the chevrons may stand for. The original paper label is still intact on the inside, as shown. I accept PayPal. Hello and welcome Vintage ORANGE Fibre-Metal SUPER-GLAS Hard Hat Helmet In original condition with original owners name on back on sticker(can be removed) Has a clean chin strap with an adjustable suspension head liner. As you can see from the pictures still in fairly good condition. Light scuffs-scratches- and normal wear to the orange paint. It has a really great vintage bright orange color and in good condition. Rare Classic E.D. Bullard Model 502 Fiberglass Hardhat. Bullard’s distinctive three-rib. Heat resistant fiberglass hard hat was developed in the 1940’s. Unusual halo style turnbuckle steel wire ring suspension attachment. The helmets molded in grooves retain the suspension in place. Awesome blue trademark lightning bolt on front. Headband included and intact. Hard Boiled logo and E.D. Bullard Co. S.F. U.S.A. molded into the interior crown of the helmet next to the label.
