Vintage Aluminum Fibre Metal Hard Hat Helmet This vintage aluminum SUPERLITE Fibre-Metal hard hat helmet is used. There is a significant amount of wear on the inside and out whitch should be expected from it. Considering its age. The inside is dirty. I tried to clean it but I couldn't get all the dirt out. I do believe it is only dirt; no rust. A good cleaning would make this helmet look much better. The adjustable strap inside is unattached and broken in a couple places. Please see pictures. Vintage Aluminum Construction Hard Hat Helmet Fibre Metal just like bullard
This is for a very nice. Vintage construction helmet. These aluminum helmets are more desirable due to their sturdy nature and nice aesthetics. This one has a couple red paint drips and some green paint spots over the surface. I did not clean it, but am sure that some slovent or paint thinner may clean it up. The liner is complete and shows very little wear if any. The plastics are not broken. Here's a great vintage aluminum hard hat. Made by B F McDonald of Los Angeles. CA. It is in pretty good conditon with a lot of wear on the top(see photo 4) but no big dents. Has its original liner(a little grubby) one size fits all adjustable. One of the best things about this hard hat is the vent holes which make it much more comfortable to wear in hot conditions and a little lighter. Outside measurement of 12 1/2" Inside measurement of 9" on metal. Lots of uses.

This is a vintage Superlite Fibre-Metal hardhat in very good condition. It was worn by my brother-in-law in the 1970's when he worked for the Park Service at Sequoia National Park. There are some light scuffs here and there and a few tiny chips. The wear is consistent with having been worn for two summers in the park. The suspension is in good condition and adjusts easily to 6 3/4 to 7 1/2. Really a very nice hardhat in a still vibrant red color.

This is a vintage" Superlite by Fibre Metal" alluminum hard hat. I purchased this in an estate sale and you can assume this is from the early 60's as much of the other items were. There is evidence of a paper tag inside but most of it is gone. It has a head band and semi liner made of a plastic. Please use the photographs as part of the discription. 6 1/2" Tall 10 1/2" outside Width side to side. 12 1/4 front to back The inside head band is adjustable. LOOK CLOSE.
