This is an Aluminum Safety Hard Hat or Helmet. It made by McDonald and is model T. 6 1/2 thru 7 1/8" It meets the Anzi Z89 safety code of 1981. It looks to be manufactured by Mine Safety Appliance Co. The hat looks fairly new on the outside. It has one very small scratch and one very small dent you can see from the outside. The inside shows some age as the brackets holding the inner web have some surface rust on them. I have what is left of the original plastic bag that the hard hat came in. I don't know how much this has been worn but it looks to be very little if any. Please feel free to ask questions. Hi bid pays for the item. Here's a great vintage aluminum hard hat. Made by B F McDonald of Los Angeles. CA. It is in pretty good conditon with a lot of wear on the top(see photo 4) but no big dents. Has its original liner(a little grubby) one size fits all adjustable. One of the best things about this hard hat is the vent holes which make it much more comfortable to wear in hot conditions and a little lighter. Outside measurement of 12 1/2" Inside measurement of 9" on metal. Lots of uses.
