this is a partial set of two each of various plates and 2 cups. total 8 pieces) Only the larger plate and the cups have the white clover design on them. The plates have the Russel Wright signature on the back. The inside of cups and outside of plates is a creamy white and the mustard yellow primary color is flecked with browns. This is a set of 4 oyster bowls. 2 are a pink/salmon color and are stamped Russel Wright Steubenville. One of the bowls has a crack-like defect in the rim(see photo 2) that appears to have occurred during manufacturing as it is under the glaze. The other 2 are a mustard yellow and are unmarked. RARE Set 4 Vintage Russel Wright Spun Aluminum Bowls Vase HIGHLY UNUSUAL Hello bidders. Up for bid today is an extremely rare set of Russel Wright spun aluminum bowls that are extremely hard to find. The bowls measure 4 7/8" wide x 1 3/4" tall. The bowls are unsigned but are attributed to Russel Wright. Wright auctions sold the same bowl as part of a collection in May 22. 2005 lot number 453. The bowls have been lightly used over the years and there are some small scratches, one bowl has a small dent to the bottom that could be removed easily and there is one slightly deeper scratch as shown in the photos. These goblets were original designs by Alex Madonna and were especially designed to compliment the Wild Rose carpeting in his Steakhouse Dining Room. Over the years different colors and shades of colors were added and retired. This lot is a rare treasure in that there are 10 goblets in different colors, and 7 out of the 10 are retired colors. I would describe the colors as teal, light emerald green, blue topaz, sapphire blue, cobalt blue, aqua, salmon pink, pink, ruby lustre, and clear satin lustre. The cobalt, salmon pink, and clear satin lustre are the only colors that are still ... morebeing made from this lot. If you haven't seen one of their lustre goblets like the ruby lustre, it has an irridescent coating. The clear satin lustre goblet is clear throughout the goblet and features frosted roses and leaves. The weight of these goblets is substantial and the raised relief of the roses and leaves adds a nice dimension and texture. Each stem is hexagon shaped for added detail. On the bottom of each goblet, there are three rosebuds. They measure 5" tall and are approximately 2 1/2" wide across inside the bowl of the goblet. They are in excellent vintage condition and are timeless treasures. If I had a space to display them, I would not part with them, but since I don't, I would like someone else to use them and enjoy them. Cranberry Opalescent Fern& Daisy Bowl& Tumbler Set. LG Wright. Slightly flawed. Since receiving my first piece of cranberry glass(a gift from my mother’s collection) roughly 35 years ago. I have collected many. Estate sales. Auctions, antique fairs…you name it…I was there searching for pieces. Now the years are catching up with me. And I’m finding it more difficult to clean and maintain them, so I’ve decided to start passing these rare and beautiful pieces on to someone else to enjoy. Offered here are a bowl and tumbler. Unmarked, but most likely manufactured by the LG Wright Company. The bowl measures 4 5/8” wide by 2 5/8” tall. The glass is nice and thick. The pattern crisp and clear and easily felt on both the inside and the outside of the piece. The only discernible flaw I could find on this piece is a tiny flake or chip on the ... moreinside of the rim which I cannot see. But I can feel. Easily smoothed out with a diamond file. Should you feel the need to bother with it. The tumbler measures 3 ½” tall by 2 7/8” across. Description same. There is some roughness around the rim. And three small chips on the outside. Again. I believe they could be smoothed out with a diamond file. Please note: I have another auction going for a second set of these that is NOT flawed. Please do not confuse the two. I have priced the two sets commensurate to condition. These pieces have been well taken care of in a smoke-free home. Out of direct sunlight and behind glass. They are breath-taking pieces in the rare Daisy& Fern pattern. A pattern which the Fenton Glass Company(the last to produce this pattern) proclaimed they would never make again. I am neither a dealer nor an expert. Items are described to the best of my ability. My eyes aren’t what they once were. So it is possible I might miss minute flaws, or fail to disclose something I considered normal wear. I do my best to point out anything I feel is significant. And let the pictures do the rest.
