Kuhlman Gauge for pressure testing gas lines
If you have ever had a natural/propane gas line replaced and spent either your time or paid someone to wait for the supplier to have their certified agent come and pressurize your lines checking for leaks. Then this is the tool you need. I have had the gas company come and. After they pressurized the repaired line, found a fitting leaking. They wouldn't wait while it was repaired so I wound up having the repair made and calling the gas company again. Another day lost and more money paid out to the repair man. When this happens in the winter, or any time for that matter, you need the line ready immediately to restore your furnace/water heater without the inconvenience. With this gauge you check it yourself and eliminate any excess charges by the plumber/installer/repairman. This would also be a great item for the handyman who does this ... morework as a sideline. Or even the plumber who could use another unit for another service vehicle. I used it several times when I was in business and it saved me a lot of call backs. This is the same unit many of the gas companies use and is accepted by them for its accuracy. There is a brass thumb valve on it as well. The gauge seem to be in good condition, as you can see in the very clear pictures, with age appropriate patina and a little dripped paint. Vintage CRAFTSMAN Regulated Line Pressure Gauge Regulator Gas Tool - Steampunk
Up for sale a unique vintage pressure measuring gauge/ tool by Craftsman. Looks vintage and feels quite heavy. But is in great condition. The gauges are all intact and there are no cracks on the glass. The metal seems to have some patina/ darkening in some spots, but otherwise in very good shape as well. Not sure what this item was used for but it certainly looks cool and unusual. I have no way of testing the functionality so it is being SOLD AS IS. Would be a great item for a collector or a steampunk artist! Measures about 10.5" long. Weights about 4 lbs. Made in USA. Please feel free to ask any questions and good luck bidding!
