Here, Steve ... morehas trained his staff of fly fishing professionals to conduct guided fly fishing adventures throughout Central Washington, with their primary focus on the Yakima River since 1996.

Worley Bugger Fly Co. also operates the areas first and foremost premier professional fly fishing shop. "Our staff of fly fishing professionals has been meticulously assembled and selected around local, highly knowledgeable fly fishermen." Over the past several years, our staff has worked tirelessly to assemble Central Washington's foremost pro and fly shop. We are recognized and respected as the leading authority on Central Washington's fly fishing. Our staff is prepared to show each of our guests the beautiful Yakima river along with a host of other exciting Washington fisheries."

Steve's interest in the outdoors, began at a very young age while growing up in the mining city of Butte, Montana. Steve recalls that "Outdoor recreation was always a part of our family life. Fishing, hunting and camping in the wilds of Southwest Montana was a influential portion of my life as a young man. During the spring and summer months, weekends were divided between camping in the Pioneer Mountains of the Wise River, a small tributary of the Big Hole River, or in the Bernice area north of Butte. Here, a family ranch has existed since the early 1900's. Our days as youths were spent fishing the small creeks and beaver ponds of Red Rock Creek. The fish were plentiful and we spent much our carefree time, wading up and down the shores of the small creek. In the summer of 2006, my daughter Jacqueline caught her first Brook trout here on a fly. Another pastime during the summer months was trail bike riding into the high mountain lakes of Southwest Montana. Here big rainbows and cutthroats were the primary target. During the months of Autumn and Winter, our interest turned to archery and big game hunting for mule, whitetail deer and Rocky Mountain Elk as well as skiing and snowmobiling the rocky slopes of the Continental Divide.
Aron was born Kittitas County and grew up in Roslyn, Washington in an outdoor family lifestyle fishing and hunting. Roslyn, a small 1800’s mining town located northwest of Cle Elum, ... morewhere hardened miners staked there claims in gold, silver and coal was made infamous from the 1990’s television show “Northern Exposure”.

Most people living in and around the Pacific Northwest are most familiar with the Brick Tavern located on the corner of the main street in Roslyn, where locals like to congregate to cool off in the summer and warm up with a good drink in the winter months.

Aron avidly pursued fly fishing from a very young age and honed his fly fishing skills on the Yakima River as well as many of the smaller tributaries that feed the blue ribbon stream. Like most of us, Aron was mentored in his fishing and took to it very naturally as a young man.

In the early stages of his adult life, Aron headed to the North Country of Alaska to guide fishermen from all over the globe for a variety of fish like Arctic Char, Sockeye Salmon and large Rainbow Trout as well as Grayling and Northern Pike. Here, he honed his river skills with flies as well as the challenges of oaring and safely maneuvering a boat through the untamed wilderness areas. Aron spent many seasons on the rivers of the north, guiding people through the Fishing Bear Lodge in Tikchik River Region of Alaska.

Aron is a family man and has been married for over ten years to his wife Cheryl. They have two children and one grandchild.
David was born and raised in Central Washington and has been in the outdoors since the age of 6, whether it be drifting down some remote river or wading his way through a stream, David ... morehas found his passion. He grew up fishing the Yakima, Grande Ronde, Klickitat & Methow Rivers. After 14 years of a Para-Medicine and Fire career traveling the world for work to include Iraq & Afghanistan; he has found his way back to central Washington to make his home and enjoy the outdoors.
My name is Bo Lybeck. I was born in Seattle, Wa. I grew up in the Yakima area my whole life and I am married & have a little girl. We also have a black lab named Hallie and she ... morewill usually be in the boat with me on guided trips. After high school I went to the College of Southern Idaho for one year. After being fish deprived in the desert I decided to make the move back to Washington. I ended up at Lower Columbia College in Longview, Wa. With 10 rivers being within a 35 mile radius of the school it was hard getting much work done. I bought a boat and started fishing, and it has been my job ever since. I love it, I love seeing smiles on the guests face when we get a fish to the net. It's not just a job when you're fishing. It's fun.
By Jaclyn Child I am excited to introduce to you my husband and your guide for a day on the River. The work, dedication, and passion David has for the sport, or as he likes to call ... moreit the art, of fly fishing is astounding. David knows fly fishing. Almost every day he is either fishing the Yakima River, steelhead rivers, local creeks and lakes, or our fabulous Grandma’s Lake. When work, church, family, or other obligations keep David from fishing he's tying flies, looking at fly fishing magazines, watching fly fishing shows, or looking up the latest fly fishing info on the Internet. David has been a fly fishing fanatic since he was 13 and this is his fifteenth season guiding professionally. He has been featured in various magazines including Fly Fisherman and the American Angler, Northwest Sportsman, newspapers, and radio programs and on the Northwest Outdoors TV program. He has the stamina to put in a ten to twelve hour day guiding without letting down for a second. I've been on a trip with David where he has literally dragged a boat full of four people up the river because the current was too strong and the anchor wouldn't catch at a hole that he knew was teeming with fish.

David graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelors in Geography and Land Studies and a minor in Environmental Studies. In addition, he has completed a Master's of Science degree in Natural Resource Management. David has finished two internships, one with Yakima Counties Surface Water Management Division working on the Yakima Subbasin Plan and Salmon Recovery Planning, and the other working for a private fisheries consulting firm working on spring Chinook salmon redd counts, hook and line sampling, and fish diet analysis/comparisons on the Yakima. David has worked as a Fisheries Biologist at Grant County PUD and as a Field Biologist working with Cascade Aquatics L.L.C. in Ellensburg. He has worked on various fisheries studies, most of which involve field work on the Columbia, Yakima, Cle Elum, Naches, Teanaway Rivers and various creeks. David worked with the North Yakima Conservation District (NYCD) coordinating the Yakima Tributary Access Habitat Program (YTAHP) for 2 1/2 years. David completed his thesis with large support from the NYCD. His thesis involved a study assessing potential side channel habitat and water quality in the Selah floodplain of the Yakima River (this was thesis idea number 5 and it was a keeper). In 2008 David opened, DC Consulting L.L.C.and we're excited to offer our clients assistance with environmental research and natural resource management. DC Consulting L.L.C. is supported primarily by the Yakima Basin Joint Board, a consortium of irrigation districts, municipal water users and irrigation companies."Life is But a Dream" Angling Co., will now be a division of DC Consulting L.L.C. Don't worry David is still fishing and guiding on his days off. If you're wondering how he does all this (I live with him and I wonder) its simply a part of David's character. David has always excelled at everything he does no matter how many other things he has on his plate. Despite the many demands put on his time as a guide he will give you everything he's got and more.
