Hunter grew up in Richmond, Virginia. When he was 15, he picked up a fly rod and his life changed forever. Family trips to the Rockies inspired Hunter to attend the University of Colorado ... moreat Boulder. During college, Hunter spent his free time fishing extensively throughout Colorado and Wyoming, where he honed his understanding of western rivers. He moved to Jackson the day after graduation and began working for Snake River Angler shortly thereafter. Hunter appreciates any day on the water, whether it’s chasing big cutthroat around the Snake, or floating the Upper Green green looking for brown trout. He enjoys working with beginners and advanced anglers to improve their abilities. He is an expert fisherman in all techniques, but loves to seek out some of the biggest fish in the river with big streamers. When he’s not guiding, Hunter is fishing, hunting, or skiing throughout the West. Hunter will work hard to put you on the best fish in the river.
