This is in nice condition& runs great. I have used this on DC to charge our camper batteries. It will run about 7.5 hours on a half gallon of gas. Using AC we have used it to power a 20" fan when it gets hot& humid. Also works good to power small battery chargers. We have used this frequently& it always runs great. It will start in a couple pulls& run smooth. It does not smoke& is very quiet. It does have some scratches& a few small dents in the case but no cracks or significant damage. ETQ 3,500-Watt 3000-Watt Rated 7 HP Propane Portable Generator
So here is the story(sorry its gonna be a long one)ETQ went out of business. They had a liquidation auction. I bought a pallet of propane powered generators and some were new in the box and some were outside of the boxes and missing some parts. This generator was outside of a box with some missing parts. It has 0.2 hours on it(see pic of hour meter) I believe that was the test run hours in China but cant be positive. The generator is pristine but it is missing the hose to the propane tank. The top facade that was to resemble the gas tank, the regulator under the facade, the hose from the regulator to the carb and the air filter box and element. This will be a great parts donor if you blew up your engine or the electrical part of your generator failed. Maybe even use the powerhead for a different project. I have a couple identical units with ... more+/ zero hours and I believe they were not stocking replacement parts and just taking parts off of new generators to provide replacement/ warranty parts. I took pics from every angle I could so you would see what is missing and what you are getting. I believe this to be new and never run except for what I am calling the"test time in China" but cant be 100% positive that is the case. Maximum RPM is approximately 400 and you can charge batteries at under 25rpm. This is a custom generator head that was originally built by FTC for their vertical axis wind turbines and they were trying to get around $2.25 per watt but this was a demo unit and I was able to buy it for under 30k. Not the best looking or the best workmanship. But it doesn’t have to look good to work great and it works great! This is dirt cheap at only 40 cents per watt. No owner’s manual or field manual but I did receive the following specs from FTC: The capacitors are across the rectifiers of each coil as filters capacitors. They are 2.200 μfd at 50 volts. As the individual coils rarely top 30 volts. 50 volts is adequate. ... moreThe coil rectifiers are 25 amps at 600 vdc. This totals 900 amps if all the coils were paralleled. The whole generator is rated at 40 volts at 25 amps times 36 coils or 36 kW. The six sets of wires are provided so that you can you can have six individual power sources. They can be paralleled or wired in a series as needed* At between 300 and 400 RPM I got 220-240 volts or better from each set of wires(1440 volts if in a series) I upgraded with high quality ceramic bearings and this generator. If cared for properly, should last many years. I used the generator for running and testing 4 and 5 hp DC motors. I was amazed at the low rpm requirement as you can generate voltage by turning the shaft only a quarter turn. I would NOT recommend running the generator above 400 rpm as I previously paid $13.000 for a 10kw and blew a capacitor at 750 rpm. I got all the voltage I needed with this one at below 400rpm. This generator may also be capable of 45.000 watts. The only issue I had with this generator is the casing is a composite material and the base is not as thick as it should be so you have to be creative(and careful) when attaching a mounting bracket. Generac 15000 watt generator and Transfer Switch - Very little use
This is a 15.000 watt Guardain Plus Generac power generator. It was used to back up a bank of data servers. to the best of my knowledge it came on line twice during the years of server use. The exercise cycle was set to have it start for a period of 15 minutes once every week. It has a two cylinder N.G. engine. Please note: we had a sheet metel company prefab the needed and correctly designed metel so the unit could be placed indoors and exhaust properly to the out doors. The Wyoming winters can get very cold and because of the server backup task this unit had it was impairative that it correctly started up with out fail. This unit has never seen outdoor weather. Cold, etc. If the winner of the bid wants the exhaust collection box and venting sheet metel work it will be included at no extra charge. The transfer switch is perfect and functions ... moreas it should. This item is heavy and large- local pickup only! Vintage Onan 10 L2 Generator 1000 Watt,
Here is a piece from my garage I would like to pass on. This(believe 1942) Onan generator is a single cylinder cast iron engine and very heavy. The engine is a rope start and produces approx 1000 watt output. I carried it many times to engine shows as an electrical source for lighting and a small heater. But it is getting challenging to tote this beast around. Usually starts within 3 pulls. I am fully aware that you can get lighter chinese generators with more output for a bit more money. But they will most likely not work anymore after 70 years. It should however appeal to an engine or vintage machinery collector who appreciates a solid pieces or American engineering. It is mounted on a little skid. But requires 2 people to carry. It has been refurbished a couple years back, except the tank. I believe the petcock is the only item which is ... morenot original. Even the oil bath air filter housing is still there and complete. Due to weight. I will not ship with USPS, FEDEX or UPS. Optional I can get this on a pallet and ship with Fastenal store to store(probably $ 125) Or try some of the Ushippers which roam the country side for almost next to nothing. Obviously you can also pick it up in person(during payment) which I would prefer.
