This sweet little unmarked saddle measures approximately 8" long from horn to back of seat. The tooled leather is accented with suede seat with light stitching. Vintage Japan Fishing Creel 15 Front Pocket Tooled Leather Orig Straps Side Hole
This is a nice old large fishing creel marked on the bottom Japan#15. The creel itself is in great condition with no breakage or holes. All the strap leather is dry and the thinner long strap is cracked in 3 places: at the two buckles and toward the middle. The broad strap is tooled and has two small dark spots which may be burns. The strap holding the top is broken. The missing piece is included. All the metal buckles, D' rings, and clips are rusted/corroded. The front leather pocket is also very dry but the snaps are intact and it has no rips. This has a bottom measurement of 14 1/2" A top measurement of 11 1/2" and is 9" in height. Split rivets and trapezoid stirrup buckles. All features of the saddle are original and typical late 19th century construction. It is missing the stirrups and the girth rigging. They used sewing awls, a small wooden cutting board, a wooden implement for smoothing, a heavy stone and a knife. This belt buckle is made of Alpaca Silver from Mexico-I am listing it for a friend who is from Mexico. It is very nice and attractive-The buckle has a golden colored overlay over the silver in place. Some etched and/or tooled silver on the rest. Take a good look at the pictures to see the design. There are two silver loops to hold the belt in place, and a silver tip for the end of the belt. The buckle is 2 1/2 inches in both directions, and the belt opening is a hair over 1 inch. Vintage Western Cowboy tooled leather map or document case
You are bidding on a tooled leather. Belted case which belonged to my father, born in 1920. It seems to be a case for maps or other documents. He often hunted in Wyoming and may have used it then although it has very little wear. It has a leather handle strap that passes through two loops allowing it to be pulled to be flat against the case or pulled up as a handle. Fay Coucher" is inscribed in two places along with the initials F.C. I added a standard sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper to give you a better idea of size and function. When the scrolling case is closed it measures 15" in length and 2 3/4" in diameter. The photographs should provide a very good idea of the function and condition of the piece. It is leather/suede lined and it may have been made in Mexico. It is about 13 1/4" across and about 9" high and about 6" thick when empty. This is a made in the US hand-tooled leather belt with four buffalo nickel rivets and seven flower design. The nickels are on the Native American profile side. And are slightly magnetic- which may mean they are repro hardware and not actual nickels. Either way, this belt is beautiful and in like-new condtion. It's a size 34, and the buckle is riveted to the belt. There are six holes. The inside is stamped with the following: GENUINE LEATHER HAND FINISHED MADE IN USA. To the left of that is the number 518. There are no signs of wear on this belt, and condition could be described as like new. On the inside of the belt near where the buckle is riveted to the leather, there is a spot of discoloration in the leather about the size of a dime. Assumed cowhide, and the broken lacing is easily replaced- ask any shoemaker. There is a very worn and faded red paper blotter inside. These were made by a man who worked at Juan Lara's shop in Santa Barbara California. He used a vintage belt from Lamb's of Mesa Arizona. The belt is fabulous, deep colored acorn tooling. These are top quality for your little buckaroo! The waist can go from about 22" to 28" Total length from waist to bottom of fringe is about 18" inseam about 13.5" I am not the best judge but they look like they could probably fit anything from about a 5 year old to a 12 year old, that might not be perfectly accurate but they have lots of room for adjustment. The legs have a very unique pull string closure that looks cool from behind. These should get you from mutton busting to goat tying, perfect ... morefor rodeo, and they looks cool on the wall with your hats, spurs, bits, saddles, etc. Good condition. The belt is on the dry side with some cracking, it shouldn't be bent on a bunch, but it should be ok, you could always have it re-enforced if they get heavily used. With swinging buttons in the Wyoming and Colorado style spurs as shown in the Bit& Spur Maker's Book, page 61. These are hand made spurs by Gordon Hayes, of Santa Margarita. California, and the insides of the shank cut outs show irregularities consistent with spurs that are created by hand. The spurs are 5 5/8" overall, with an inside heel band measurement of 2 13/16" The heel bands are 15/16" wide, with a 1 3/16" diameter 8 pointed ... morerowel. The outside heel bands are overlaid with finely detailed hand engraved silver panels in a scroll pattern, with a zig zag border. The 5/8" tall initials SMC are 3 dimensionally raised with a gold front, and inlaid with a fine line engraved border to the letters. The outside shanks each have 2 silver overlaid hand engraved panels with zig zag hand engraved borders and scroll patterns. Both the inside and outside heel bands have 3/4" diameter swinging buttons. The tooled basket weave spur straps are complete. And appear original to the spurs. These single mounted spurs have a stylized Maker's mark of GH on the outside ends of both heel bands. This is the Maker's mark for Gordon Hayes of Santa Margarita, California, and is listed in Bits& Spur Techniques by Ned& Jody Martin. The spurs also have a number 95104 on the ends of the inside heel bands. I am unsure what his numbering system is; however, it is definitely NOT a zip code. As there is no such zip code in the United States Postal Service data base on their web site. These spurs were custom made in 1995, appear to be 100% original. This is pair of VINTAGE(they have been in my family for over 40+ years) STERLING SILVER and iron steel(originally blue) handmade 14 point rowell spurs. Included in the sale are the original vintage black tooled spur straps. This pair of spurs is absolutely stunning. There is no maker's mark on this pair of spurs. But the engraving is lovely as shown in the closeup photos. The size of the spurs is 6-1/4 inches total length by 3-1/4 inches wide by 1 inch tall. The rowell is a 1 inch diameter 14 point rowell. There are 4 silver inlay stripes on the back side of the spurs as shown in the photos. Since these spurs are vintage and used. They do show some signs of wear but still ... morehave years of life left. The left spur has a"ripple" in the silver which is shown in closeup photo#6 and the rivet on the outside button has popped photos#7 and#8 although it does not affect the spur's wearability but should be easily repaired if you so desire. Here is a pair of heavy batwing chaps. Rough-out leather. But the inside is smooth, not split. These will turn the brush. The belt has been replaced, but shows good workmanship with what appears to be a handmade buckle set. Six polished stainless heavy duty conchos that would be hard to dent. It's made from a highly rigid animal skin of some type and smooth like stiff leather. The strap is a different type of leather and is much more brittle than the bag itself. There is no metals on this bag anywhere. Its all natural and clearly hand made. The design is random as far as we can tell with one distinguishing mark on the lapel. Old Crockett iron silver overlaid heart bit and tooled bridle with heart conchos
This is a very nice old unmolested Crockett marked iron heart shaped silver overlaid bit. The mouth piece is 5 1/4 inches wide. The old leather headstall is nicely tooled in the old style flowered pattern. And has heart conchos. The leather shows moderate use but remains supple and has a great old patina. This is a great old western bridle that displays nicely. I only ship to USA.

Pair Antique Well Worn Hand Tooled Leather 3 Snap Cowboy Cuffs Good Condition
A hard to find pair of antique very well worn hand tooled leather Cowboy cuffs with three snaps each and still in good condition. They each measure approximately 6" in length X 12 1/2" around at the forearm and 9" around at the wrist. One of the snaps is missing its smooth top but it still works perfectly. All of the snaps.do.
