Most of the components are still sealed in their original bags and were never opened. Paperwork on the unit shows it was certified on January 8. 2009. The unit powers on perfectly. It passes it's internal self-test. Once powered on you can hear the internal pump operate as it should. The unit is sold with a working guarantee, it may need to be recalibrated before use with new consumables. A calibration bottle is included, although the label states that it's best used before January 2012(so you may want to get a new bottle if you need certifiable results) Otherwise, it looks to be in great condition with no defects to report. MultiRAE Rae multiple gas detector PGM50-5P appears to work
From a state surplus sale. A MultiRae model PGM50-5P multiple gas detector. I did not get anything else with it, you just get the unit you see in the photos. It uses a very common 12v charger, which is the same as those used to power a variety of cbs and other car electronics, which I had for that purpose, so I used that to charge it and power it up. It was last calibrated in 2007, and will need the expendable gas detection cartridges replaced. But it otherwise seemed to check out ok, and I could feel a slight suction on the nozzle when it was turned on. So, I'm selling it as working and if it's not it can be returned for a refund. 3. Used Rae Systems MultiRae Plus Five gas sensor instrument. Instrument has Oxygen. LEL, CO, H2S and PID(VOC 10.6ev lamp) sensors installed. The Oxygen sensor is dead and needs to be replaced. This sensor can be ordered from the manufacturer. All of the other sensors calibrated fine to calibration gas. Sensors are older than two years but work fine. Pump flow rate is.5 lpm and pump stall alarm functions correctly. Instrument comes with rechargable battery and original power supply. Rubber boot is yellow. But show use. see pictures. Selling in used as/is condition with no returns. This is a life segfety device and it is the responsibility of the owner to understand how to use and maintain properly.
