MSA Chillgard Refrigeration Monitor Calibration Kit For sale- an MSA Chillgard refrigeration monitor calibration kit. I think. There is no model number on the case or anywhere else that I see. However. There was a copy of an instruction manual for an MSA Chillgard IR Refrigerant Leak Detection System in the case when I bought it. So presumably they were using it with that at some point; whether it would be useful with other MSA systems I leave for you to determine. There are several things in the case that do have model numbers. First. There is an MSA Flow Control Regulator, part number 467896, 1.5 liters/minute. And there are two gas cylinders as you can see. Part number 801050, Air, Zero, and part number 803498, HCFC-123 400ppm. Both of those started off at 1000psi. The Zero Air is now at about 700-750, the HCFC is at about 600. The Zero ... moreAir tank says on it that it meets vehicle emission zero air specifications. So perhaps in fact it was being used in that application. But the HCFC sounds like a refrigerant to me. So I will let you be the judge. Also includes a couple of scrubbers and few other assorted pieces of tubing. Other than checking the tanks for pressure. During which the regulator did not leak or at least not that I could hear, the stuff is untested and NO warranty is offered. However. I do not know much about this unit i acquired it in a auction. It has an array of parts with it. Such as filters and O-rings. It does power on with both of the battery packs. One is a rechargeable one with a charger but it is missing the ac power cord, but i tested the charger with one i had and it does function. The other battery back takes double A batteries. When powered on it does say that it is out of calibration. Included in this auction is three calibrations tanks with a gauge and a tank fitting. Also included is a hard back cover and a infrared sensor which i believe is for transferring data from the tester to a computer. When the tester is powered on you can here the pump running and the graph starts to fluctuate which leads me to believe that is functioning correctly. MSA Sirius, Gas Meter
This gas meter is lightly used but in good condition. It does require new sensors and a charger. The battery is good but it came with no charger when I purchased it. I have been charging this unit when working special operations. The meter new will run around 3000 to 5000 dollars depending on options. This is a great deal for currently used ops equipment. I am selling as is. Sensors will run around $500 to $600 from a reputable dealer but you may want to send it in for them to do the sensor changes because they can give you a certified calibration sheet on the unit.
