Antique Dental Furnace part with lead teeth and molds
REKORD dental furnace part with lead and molds to make teeth- looks like a mess but it's really cool stuff and will clean up good. Molds are stamped Derfla Systems. about 3 lds of lead plus some raw chunks and powder. Furnace is a dome about 8 inches wide and tall. There are 17 single mold parts- I didn't count the teeth. Vintage 'Julia' Vase Hand-Cut with Etched Amber 24% Lead Crystal made in Poland
Condition: Used. No chips or cracks. More photos are posted below the item’s description Description Up for auction is an absolutely gorgeous hand crafted 24% lead crystal vase made by the“Julia Crystal Glass Factory” in Poland. Julia Crystal Glass Factory has been around for almost 200 years and is still in business today. They are globally renowned for the finesse and design of their crystal masterpieces. Each side of this vase is faced in amber and then etched; one side is an etching of a swan and the other side is an etching of water lilies. The vase is approximately 10” in height and weighs a full 5 lbs. In 2 of the photos you will notice there is a white sheet of paper inside the vase. I did this so as to provide a clearer image of each individual etching. Without the paper inserted. You can see through to the other side of vase which ... morehas the other etching. The side that has the water lily etching contains, what appears to be, a sand deposit. In the photos it looks like a speck of dirt on the vase, but it is actually located directly in the crystal glass itself. The imperfection is not readily visible, as I did not notice it until after I uploaded and enlarged the images to my computer. Expanded and twisted. Applied foot. The pattern is uneven around the top. Consistant with the normal flaws of early glass. Please reference Two Hundred Years of American Blown Glass by The McKearins for an identical example. Probably produce in Pittsburgh or New England area. First quarter of the nineteenth century.
