The system consists of a master control and PC interface station and up to five instrument docking modules for complete two-way instrument communication. To start any calibration or operational testing. Simply place an instrument into one of the customized docking modules. All of the work is now done by the DS1000. It will start communication with the instrument to determine its status. As soon as an instrument is placed on a docking module, communication between the master control unit and the instrument commences. This communication is the key to a successful gas detection program. The instrument's profile is stored in the database of the computer for quick reference. If there are any changes necessary for instrument settings, the operator has the option to change the preset values and the instrument will be updated automatically when connected. The DS1000 will supply power to the docking modules to enable the recharging of the ATX612. ATX620 and the TMX412. A status light and timer are displayed on the computer screen to allow the operator to confirm battery-charging conditions. Offered is an INDUSTRIAL SCIENTIFIC DS2 iTX IDS DOCKING STATION. Model# 1810-5551. Also included are Four(4) Industrial Scientific iTX Gas Testers. These devices came out of a Storage Unit and their Particular History is unknown. Two of the iTX Testers have labels on the back from the United States Department of Mine Safety and Health Administration(MSHA) The DS2 Docking Station is in Very Good++ Cosmetic Condition. This Unit Powers-up and goes through a litany of tests and checks(see pics) On the Back of the Unit there are Three(3) Calibration Connections. A 12V DC Power Connection, a LAN Port, a Gas Hose/Line with Connector, a Standard 110V Power Outlet(Cord Included) and some additional Adjustment Ports. The Cover Locks-in Properly. The Screen is Clear with one small scratch. There are signs of normal use on the Docking Station and there ... moreare remnants of Blue Paint around parts of the Base/Bottom. When a Gas Tester is inserted and the Cover is closed the device is checked and then eventually appears to go into the Battery Charging Mode. Please review the photographs for more detail. Three of the Four iTX Gas Detectors are Complete with Battery and Wrist Strap. The Fourth has neither a Battery or Wrist Strap. I attempted to Charge the Batteries of the Three Complete Units but none of them take a charge. One of the Unit Batteries Did Charge SLIGHTLY and does Briefly Power-up a Tester but then shuts down prior to reaching Full Operation Mode. What does display is the following: iTX Revision 2.5.16. Saving Settings and the Red Lens on the Bottom Right Corner Lights/Beeps Once. I swapped that Partially Charged Battery into the other Three Units. A second Unit Displays: iTX 2.4 Warming Up then performs a Countdown from 8 and once the Countdown is completed readings occur but a Battery Symbol Displays(low battery) and the Unit Shuts-Down. The Third Unit Displays: iTX 2.9.0 Warm Up Instrument Calibration Due E To Continue then a Count Down then the Unit Displays Gas Readings and then Shuts-Down Due to Low

Up for auction is a used Industrial Scientific DS2 Docking Station w/ MX4 iQuad Gas Detector. Both units are in good physical condition. With only some minor scuffing. Both units powered on and the docking station started to charge the MX4. I do not have a way to fully test these units, so I am forced to sell them as-is for"parts or not working.
