All I had to do was go on youtube to see how to sync the Sony speaker with my ipod. Well after going to Sony's site and downloading the manual, I found that this is just the speaker and I still need the base unit. Oh well. The speaker turns on and has a bright screen. The clock function works perfectly. The speaker seems to be in excellent cosmetic condition. It has the wireless card too. The LMP flow adjustment knob is in good condition and works. The load gauge is in good condition and easy to read. When I powered this unit on I could feel suction from the end of the tube. This unit maintains a constant flow air source from 2 to 20 LPM making it ideal for area clearance sampling and other very low concentration particulate/pollutant sampling. This is for a VENTALERT Air System Alarm. Model WB 86S. It is used, but was removed in working condition. The Ventalert air-system alarm continuously and effectively monitors the operating efficiency of exhaust systems(eg. Fume hoods) Confirming adequate performance or warning the operator when a partial or complete failure of the exhaust system occurs by emitting both audible and visual warning signals. The exhaust system in an operating fume hood produces a low static pressure. Which causes air to be drawn through the hood and ducts. Ventalert monitors the negative, operating static pressure in the duct just above the fume hood and alarms when the pressure deviates from the preset limit. Ventalert is mounted on the exterior of the fume hood(with a small sensing tube penetrating the duct above the hood) in a location that is readily visible ... moreto the user during use of the fume hood.
