This is a Mondial Design goldie! The 8008x3 is pure muscle in two or three channel configuration. At 8 ohms. This beast will produce 200W per channel. In 4 ohms, it will put out 400W. The amp itself is fairly hefty at close to 70lbs and three of its four sides are all heatsinks. All ready to dissipate any heat when demanding movie soundtracks push it through its course. This part was located between the pin-card carousel and the multi-output programmable power supplies. It consists of 32 individual 1:2 precision 50-ohm BNC connector switches. The reed-switches are specially designed to adhere as closely as possible to the 50-ohm environment. Ground-path metal strips are located within the reed switch. And the signal paths to the reed switch are 50-ohm striplines. The S-3295 system from which this was removed was purchased in 1984 as a 93-ohm system, and upgraded with all new 50 ohm pin-cards in 1990, at which time this panel would have been added to the test head. Original cost of the system in 1984 was $ 1,499,000 and the 1990 upgrade added another $2.4 M! When they were'surplussed' in 1996, I purchased two complete systems for $7000! The manual sets alone weighed 400 pounds. Please note, this listing is only for the switcher- it does not include the VLSI test system! This scope is both an analog scope and a store scope similar to a Tektronix 2230. The triggering isn't working right in analog mode but Digital store mode is OK. The way I took the image was first get a trace on the screen in analog mode(storage light off) and then switched to storage mode and pressed either single or hold button to get a stored imaged. This listing is for an Omegaline 620 Strip Chart Recorder. Tested and Working. Prior to listing it was hooked up to a signal generator and fed sine and square waves(see pic#2) The following results were observed: It powers up and the Zero Set knobs adjusts the zero position of the pens. As it should. The Pen Up/Down lever works as it should. When set to record. With appropriate voltage ranges selected, the pens plot the sin wave inputs. Varying the amplitude of the sine wave varies the distance that the pen moves correspondingly. Varying the frequency of the sine wave varies the frequency with which the pen moves correspondingly. The paper advance works correctly and the speed controls vary the speed of the paper. As they should. Both pens had ink at time of testing. But are not guaranteed not to have dried out by time of sale. See pic#4 ... morefor the plot that was generated. It is in good used condition. With some scuffs, scratches etc. Only the functionality described above is guaranteed and, as with any used instrument, calibration is not guaranteed. No paper is included.
