It has three factory installed 23 high speed stepper motors for X, Y, Z axis, they are all covered by a shell. The stepper and ball screw mounts are made of wire cut steel, not aluminum materials increasing the rigidity and accuracy, with the CN Control provides for a high localization accuracy making 50 IPM rapids seem very reasonable on a mini mill drill machine.
