The instructions for a very similar belt on the Buckingham web site(13902) say it's not for fall arrest. But it's for suspension and positioning.has multiple attachment points, chain saw hooks, etc. I can't find any problems or damage. Everything looks and feels strong. bashlin climbing belt D26 linemans tree
Just bought this belt on ebay. Wrong size. I really wanted THIS belt. But D26 is too big for me. I'm really surprised at how little use is on this belt. I don't see any wear on the belt loop holes. Minor scuff marks on the leather, and the back leather is soft and doesn't appear to have been sweated on a lot.or at all. I have no use for this belt. No returns, item as is. I cannot vouch for its functionality or its structural integrity. I haven't tried it. Bashlin has this belt new at $200 or so. Please view the photos. I'll ship this priority mail. Up for auction is this nice used set of Bashlin tree/pole climbing gaffs/spikes 140-DS made in Grove city PA. And comes with the Rose manufacturing co. Climbing/ safety belt. The leather and straps on the climbers are in good condition just a little stiff, gaffs are still sharp. The safety belt I don't know how to tell exactly what size it is but I put it on and I have a 36" waist and it had three holes of adjustment on each side of the hole that fit me. The gaffs are marked 4-54 Buckingham Bell system A 17 inch. The 2 straps are marked Klein, they are 5 foot + long. one marked KL-5295-58 the other just Klein on a buckle. The Belt say's Klein Tools 5266N-22 38-46 with 1-78 date. I tried it on. If you are going to use it a better size range would be 32 to 40 Inches. My waist size is 38 inches and I used the 2nd to last hole when putting it on. $16 shipping to lower 48.

I was unable to find the manufacture name on this belt is but the name on the pole safety strap is Buchingham and it is in very good shape.The same tag on the safety strap reads Bell System 12-74. The harness leather and tongue and buckle section are designed for rugged wear. This 5 inch wide belt is padded on the inside for more comfortable use. The leather belt strap is reinforced with a strong stitching for extended wear and strength. It has 2 metal heavy duty rings for attaching the pole strap and safety clips. There are 5 loops/clips on the belt for carrying tools. I recommend this belt for a larger waist size. I am a 40 waist and it fits on the one of the first belt hole. The difference from the last belt hole to the 1st belt hole is 8 inches. Going by that I believe ... moreit fits a 40 and a 48 waist. There is room on both ends to make more holes for a larger or smaller size. Along with this belt comes a 42 to 66 inch adjustable pole safety strap. The tag and manufacture info is attached to the yellow belt and is visible in the pictures. The Belt is size XL 5" long. From the buckle to the first belt hole is 42" last belt hole is 50" There are no defects. Also have a4 pair of spikes listed. Has a 5 foot safety strap with nice safety latch hook. 2nd Item: Black strap. I could not find manufacture on item. Following number is on buckle MS70101-1. Strap is 1 3/4 inch wide. Lenght around the waist is 53 1/4 Inch. Length of strap that goes around tree is 100 inches. 3rd item: Sport Climbers Tree climbing spikes Camo Color. Sport Climbers are sturdy. Yet weigh less than 3lbs. They attach to your hunting or pack boots(with two straps) in ... moreseconds. The ankle strap runs through a special two-ply foam pad and around the metal frame. 4th Item: POWER WINCH towing strap. Sturdy as heck. But not really designed for climbing, but it came with the items when I bought the package off a retired man.
