Vintage Original 1926 Tokheim Oil Tank and Pump Company Model 454 Hand Crank Pump. Serial Number 336361. Used to pump gas by the New York City Fire Department in the twenties and thirties. Clean red and black paint. Cast iron body, intact wooden knob, surface rust in places on the upper section, crank turns the clockface, verdigris on the brass side discharge faucet, chipped paint in places, missing piece to the left of the face, serial number tag intact, N.Y.C. Original vintage TOKHEIM Gas pump restored with SHELL theme-lights up nicely
Original vintage TOKHEIM gas pump that has been restored with the SHELL Gasoline theme. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS AUCTION IS ONLY FOR THE SHELL PUMP SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS. It measures 7 feet 8 inches tall. 22 inches wide and 16 inches thick. The pump has the original metal body, handle, pump handle and chrome trim. The glass globe, ad glass, hose and signs are all new replacement pieces. The pump has the original mechanical mechanism that used to control the number wheels but the actual pumping mechanism has long since been removed. The pump has one side that has experienced some fading to the red paint as shown. The pump is in good overall condition but does have a few small scrapes as shown. This wonderful old pump dial once graced the face of a Tokheim 850 gas pump from the 1930s. This model was made between 1930 and 1939 and the dial measures 12& 3/4 inches across. It has seen many years out in the weather and the gallon numbers for 0. 5, 10& 15 were once red and have now mostly faded away. ORIGINAL PAIR OF DIXIE AD GLASS-NOT REPRODUCTIONS-FITS TOKHEIM 39s& 300 PUMPS Two pieces of original Dixie ad glass. They are curved. Have rounded corners and measure 10 1/8" X 3 1/2. They fit the Tokheim 39s(short pumps) and the Tokheim 300 gas pumps. Each one is dated 2/3/61 One is in almost perfect condition. The other has a chip on the right edge as shown in the pictures. Most of this chip will be covered by the rubber gasket. This one could be used for the back side of the pump. These are not being reproduced.

TOKHEIM PORCELAIN COATED GAS PUMP FACE PLATE Model 39- Original Factory Part You are looking at an original face plate from a Model 39 Tokheim Gas Pump from the 1940's and 1950's era. This will work on the short or the tall model and it measures 12-3/4" wide by 17-1/4" high overall. As you can see in the photos it is not like brand new. The dark areas around the edges and the 3 screw holes are from damage to the porcelain being chipped away. There is also some chipping of the porcelain around the 3 openings for the Amount of Sale. There are some areas in the middle of the plate below the name Tokheim that have brown discoloration. I don't know if this will polish out or not. There are some scratches in the porcelain immediately above the name Tokheim. When this is installed in a pump the edges do not show with the door ... moreclosed. 1920s TOKHEIM TRAFFIC SIGNAL LIGHT 4-WAY AERIAL INDIANA OIL GAS TANK PUMP MAKER
Here's an original unrestored TOKHEIM"CUT 400" FOUR-WAY AERIAL TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL LIGHT fresh from many years of storage. TOKHEIM OIL TANK& PUMP COMPANY literature shows that this specific model was produced as early as 1927; the Fort Wayne. Indiana company stopped making the signals at the end of 1937. This example has the serial number plate intact, and the light was originally in service in a small town in central Ohio. It was purchased at an auction there earlier this year. It appears to be complete; I've never handled one of these before so I have not attempted to see if it works or to restore it in any way(other than removing cobwebs and years of surface dirt) It would be a tremendous complement to your collection of antique gas pumps, automobiles or traffic signals- or just as a great display piece! It's ... morea magnificent example of intricate and ingenious design. It is very large- the base unit is 36" tall. With the hanging brace adding another 8" in height; the core base unit is about 12 1/4" wide on each of the four sides; with the color panels in place, the unit is about 14" wide on each side. Each of the 12 hoods is about 8" from back to front at the longest point and 7" to the shortest point, and at 10" wide at the back screw fittings. The hoods are not attached(I found them this way) but the color matches the base unit and the screws are all in place on the base. Given their age and my inexperience, I didn't want to risk any damage by attempting to remove the screws. The 12 round globe panels(red, amber& green) are made of hard plastic and I don't see any cracks or breaks. The"porthole" style locking panels are all intact; I didn't attempt to open them all for fear of damaging them. I don't see any obvious issues. The white porcelain panel is covered with electrical tape, so I don't know the condition under the tape. The only obvious damage I see is that the aluminum base unit has a diagonal crack from the

This is quite a neat piece-an authentic antique vintage automobile gas pump from an old service station. Has been restored to be used in your man cave or family room. Thoroughly cleaned with a coat of finish; even electrified to add to its look. I doubt the Dixie decals are original but look good. Overall size is 58 high. 21 wide(not including the hose element) and 17 deep. This is a Tokheim(Fort Wayne, Indiana) unit and is a genuine pump, not one of the reproductions in the market.
