You can also mount a filtration system on the pressure side of the pump. Output rates vary with the type of oil and it's temperature. Diesel pumps at 12 GPM. WVO at room temperature will pump at 12 GPM. 15w40 diesel engine oil will pump at up to 10 GPM when it is above 50 degrees in temperature. These pumps are better than other pumps because they have the power to self prime. It is better to have shorter suction hoses when possible because longer suction hoses will slow your flow rate. Another huge plus this pump offers is NO DUTY CYCLE! You can use it as long as you like without having to shut it off to cool. Other pumps you may see have duty cycles of 20 minutes or less. If you run them past their duty cycle their cheap little motors melt. Many of them were never intended to pump any type of oil. Just water or diesel. Thin. Easy to pump liquids- not thick oil.
