Great find. Amazing antique(circa 1880) gilt metal electrified(converted) kerosene lamp with beautiful coin dot ruffle top lamp shade and center hurricane shade. Measures 29-1/2" from base to top of hurricane shade. 17-1/2" from base to top of brass shade holder. Width approximately 11" The lamp is working and has an on/off switch and two prong electrical plug. The cord is in good condition. No maker's mark. The manufacturer is believed to be Craighead& Kintz. But it could also be Bradley Hubbard. Overall good condition for its age, gilt coating has dulled, no cracks or chips. Weighs 16.6 lbs. Up for auction I have this Antique 1877 Cast Iron Bradley Hubbard Lamp. This was in a lake camp for years. It apparently took a fall at one time thus its missing the shade etc. Also there are a couple of broken cast parts that need repair. The decorative bottom part broke off and someone did a bad job of repairing it. It also was broke on one side and once again someone did a ditch repair job that does hold up but Im not sure what was used. If you know how to weld cast there is no doubt this thing can be restored. This shade is in good condition with no chips or cracks but does have minor nicks to the fitter edge and manufacturing flaws in the glass(white streaks that were done in the manufacturing process, see photo) The glass also has spots of discoloration from years of smoke residue. Two Kerosene Lamp Brass Wick Controllers
I am offering two brass kerosene lamp wick controllers. The left controller is marked macbeth nu-type. The bottom portion has external threads to screw in to the base. This one has heavy tarnishing with moderate dust that has collected over the years. The knob turns easy. The right controller is not marked with a manufacturer and it is not threaded. This one has mild toning. A ding in the top, dried sealer on the inside where it connects to the bottom, some bending to the flange where the chimney seats and the knob turns freely. The wick was too wide for the controller so I removed it but it will be sent along.

The lamp font has a loose replacement collar which can easily be attached with plaster of paris. it is for use with a#2 size lamp burner.If your dont have an antique burner availabe please check my#2 new brass plated burners listed on my site. You will see some faint discoloration. looks within the glass. Just a faint darkened area. I've tried to capture it in the photos but it does occur both front and back. Antique Victorian kerosene oil lamp chandelier light fixture cranberry red shade
Spectacular late 19th century pulley kerosene/oil chandelier. Stunning red glass with slight swirl. This light has been electrified and in that process an additional Victorian era lamp canopy was added so this is READY TO INSTALL TO A JUNCTION BOX! The light was also repainted in a period appropriate rich gilt. The pulley action was not altered and it still works(though the wiring will bunch up if you pull on it) No damage to the shade. EVERYTHING on this lamp is in beautiful condition and it has never been converted to electric. I obtained this from the family who has owned this lamp since new. There is still oil in the font! I had to see how gorgeous this would look while lit and slipped a bulb on a cord into the shade to show it off this way, see the last pictures, this is a very impressive antique kerosene oil lamp. The font is in beautiful condition and you would never know this was purchased in the 1890s! The last patent date is 1895 on the flame spreader which is marked Fostoria. The shade alone is an mighty 12 x 12 inches& the lamp stands 31 Inches tall with the chimney. Up for auction is a wonderful Dietz Kerosene Night Watch Safety Lantern with a Fresnel red globe. Back in the 1950's. These lanterns sold for $30 per dozen. Great contractor's yellow paint. Top to bottom, this lantern is a must-have item for the kerosene lamp collector. Made in Syracuse. New York, this lantern is about 8" high, and about 6 3/4" at the base. It holds 16 ounces of kerosene. A bit dusty inside, with no wick, but add the wick and this lantern will shine like crazy. Intact handle, no dents, breaks or obvious defects. Solar Kenosha Wis Badger Brass Kerosene Oil Carbide Bicycle Lamp Mounting Bracke
A very nice kerosene oil carbide bicycle lamp with bracket made by the Badger Brass Mfg Co in Kenosha. Wis. The lamp is approximately 7 inches tall. I believe it is nickel over brass. The two side jewels appear to be perfect. The lens has a surface flake 1/4" by 5/16" on the outside edge. I see no dents, holes, tears or stress fractures in the brass. The mounting bracket is steel and does have some corrosion. The lamp is marked as shown in the pictures. In addition, there are patent dates on the bottom from 1896 to 1899 in the US, England and Canada. Please feel free to ask any questions.

This is a small antique Cold Blast Kerosene lantern made in the USA by DIETZ. The model is the COMET H-6. It stands 9" high and is 6" across. It weighs approximately 1 lb. On the front of the glass globe is H-6 DIETZ and SYRACUSE N.Y. U.S.A. On the back is COMET REC'D U.S. PAT. OFF. Robert and Michael Dietz patented the first practical flat wick burner especially for the then new fuel oil. Kerosene in 1859. Since that time the R.E. Dietz Company manufactured hundreds of lantern models and pioneered the automotive lighting industry. This particular model the"Comet" was first introduced in 1934 for the export market. It's the smallest Cold Blast Lantern produced by Dietz and was once adopted by the Boy Scouts of America for official use. Vintage Aladdin Kerosene Oil Lamp #3 Pulldown, Brass Finish, Strong Motor
For your bidding consideration. Here is an Aladdin#3 pulldown in a brass finish. The brass is original to the piece and is in good condition except for a place on the motor cover where rust forming below is pushing the plating(much in the same way rust pushes the paint on a car) I'd estimate about 75% of the brass plating remains. There is brass plating on the topside and inside the motor cover as well. The motor spring is a good, strong one and will work well with a hanging lamp with a heavy shade. The motor works smoothly and the lock for a position functions nicely as well. The hook at the top shown in the photos I have left on, apparently the former owner used a hook on his ceiling to hang the motor rather than screwing the pulldown directly to the ceiling. The hook is easily removable, but I left it on to give you the option on how ... moreyou want to install the pulldown. Packed securely to arrive safely. Coleman Aladdin Kerosene Oil Stem Lamp
I believe this is a Coleman kerosene oil lamp base. The lamp is approximately 8 1/2 inches tall to the top of the collar. The outside diameter of the base is approximately 6 1/2 inches. The burner and oil fill cap are missing. The metal inserts are in excellent condition with no splits or stress fractures. The surface of the metal inserts are not uniform in finish meaning they have some surface deterioration. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips. Flakes or cracks.
