1952 Coleman military lantern. Gasoline, with spare parts, funnel Offered is an olive green lantern from Coleman. The bottom reads"US Lantern. Gasoline leaded fuel, Coleman 1952" There is no glass, and the adjustment knob is missing. Other than that, everything seems to be here. This has the funnel, and I realized after the photos that there is a compartment for"spare mantles and parts" The compartment has everything in it, still in the packaging, including something packed in what feels like wax paper, stuck in the bottom. You'll need forceps or needlenose pliers to get that one out. The lantern has no dents. But there are some minor thips on the lid. Stickers are at 90% with some scratching. Spout with cap and center cap. Caps screw on and off easily. It has a nice antique design around it and on top. Has some paint worn/chipped off in places. But their are dings and missing areas of porcelain. I did a light cleaning to remove some rust, but as you can see there is still some left. Vintage 1950's Jacobsen Power Lawn Mowers 2 1/2 G. Gas Gasoline Metal Can Sign
For your consideration a vintage two and one half gallon 1950's Jacobsen can. It is from a local estate purchased by me several years ago because I thought it was so cool! It has directions as to how to mix oil with gas for two stroke mowers common back in the day. The can is made of metal. It comes complete with its screw on reversible spout. And even has the screen intact in the end of the spout! There are some minor dents in the side which you may be able to see in the photos. It measures just shy of 13" in length by 5 1/2" in width and 9 1/2 in height to the top of the handle. This is an excellent addition to any advertising collection or if you just want to own a really neat old can that does not leak and could be used for its intended purpose. The handle mount has one corner that is not connected as can be seen in one ... moreof the photos. The handle is not bent though, and works fine. This can also includes the original air vent cap. The only thing NOT original about this nice old can is it has a homemade rubber gasket at the base of the spout which you can't see unless you take the spout off. This tank still has its galvanized coating intact inside. It's clean as I washed it out with water for the new owner. This is a Vintage. Original, 1920's Richfield Gasoline, Race Car with Driver, Cigarette Holder or Box in Excellent Original Condition! Measures about, 10" long, 4" wide, and 4 1/2" high. Made of a Bronze-Clad Plaster, Fragile. I'd guess that alot of these were dropped and broken. This one is in Excellent Condition, I see no damage to speak of, just some soiling and places where the bronze is cracked or a tiny bit is missing, that is back in crevices and corners etc. Inside the box the finish has worn off in places and the felt has been replaced on the outside bottom. The name Richfield is indented in the box on both sides. From what I could google about this piece, is that its a fairly Rare Item, that was given to Richfield Dealers as a Presentation Piece for their Desk back in the early twenties. SINCLAIR GASOLINE VINTAGE GAS STATION TEXACO MOBIL CHAMOIS SKIN WASHING MACHINE
This is a vintage Monitor Aerator Prestomatic Washer Model A5 Ser. 12148 Motor spec 4 AMP-115V-60CY. MFG Bellevoe Iowa. I remember seeing these in the old gas station's in the 1950's and am sure they were used in the 1940's. To find one in this good condition is hard to do. This one needs some work if you are going to use it like they did when it was new. This has a stainless steel tub. It is in good condition with few dings and dents. There is a small hole just above the aerator where the belt pulley rubbed the outside of the tub and wore thru. It could be patched with J-B Weld or something like it to stop the water leak on the stainless tub. The motor does run but makes a some noise. I know that it will need some oil on ever thing. One picture shows the inside of the bottom part that has some rust that would need to be bead ... moreblasted or sanded. The rust is only surface rust and not bad at all. The wringer is very nice and should not need anything done to it. There is no belt. Looks like it would need a fan belt. The power cord needs to be replaced. I did plug it in to see if it would run and it does. It has a Monitor badge on the front and all the INFO. on the back. It has small hard rubber wheels. This would be great with vintage gas station display. I am not sure what the red rubber hose is for, it has a broken part on the end of the hose inside, could be some kind of drain? Still a family business, the company is now owned and operated by Bill Williams, son of the late Jack Williams, Sr. With a $500 loan from his father Jack Williams. Sr. started a small tire shop in Kingston, PA. The original store had one service bay, two gas islands, and a small retread shop. The shop offered two services: mounting new tires and same day service for tire recapping. As the business grew Jack Williams moved to larger locations. Experiencing ... morecontinued growth and poised for the future. Jack Williams Tire Company moved warehousing, retreading and offices into the new 35,000 square foot facility in Luzerne, PA in 1968. In 1972 the company opened the Berwick. PA location and began construction of the Wilkes-Barre, PA location only to be halted by Hurricane Agnes, which crippled the Wyoming Valley with widespread flooding. The Wilkes-Barre store was out of harms way but the Kingston store was totally under water causing severe damage. The next wave of expansion came in the mid 80's with the building of the Stroudsburg Store and the purchase of the Shamokin Store. With these new stores on board. The Luzerne Warehouse quickly became inadequate and a new 90,000 square foot warehouse was purchased in 1988 just outside of Scranton, in Moosic, PA. The warehouse became and still is the home for the corporate offices and warehousing. Jack Williams has grown to include 27 Retail Locations in Northeastern and Central PA. This is a real neat original keychain fob from the Esso oil company. It has a tiger on it and is made of metal. It measures about 1 3/8 inches in diameter and says"Put a Tiger in your Tank" It has a license plate number on the back and guarantees postage if the keys that it is attached to are lost and dropped in a mail box. Looks like there is some dirt and dust between the plates and the globe. Also black substance around the bottom. face plates could probably be removed and cleaned. But I will leave that decision to the new owner. There are to small circles flaws to the globe as shown in photos. These were done in production and are not chips. I did notice a small scratch on the face(see second photo. Scratch is just above the E) Also includes a rare cardboard shipping flange. Vintage Snowmobile Outboard Oil Gasoline Metal Can Sign w/ Sled Graphics L@@K
This auction is for a vintage Snowmobile metal advertising gasoline and oil Can. Here is a great piece that you do not see everyday. I have decided to start selling off some of my sign collection. On the front of the can. There is the wording, Snowmobile fuel mixture" in large white lettering. In the center of the can there is a graphic of a snowmobile that is blasting through powder in front of a cabin that is surrounded by larger pine trees. Below the graphic there is the wording, 6 1/4 gal. Cap. On the back of the can there is a chart that tells you how and what to mix the gas and oil to have equal parts for the sled. The can is ready display in any collection, it is in pretty nice condition with some surface rust on the top and bottom and paint ware. There are two larger dents on the back of the can and a few small dents on the front ... morerim just below the spout. The the can measures 11 inches wide at the base, and 19 inches tall including the spout. I also have other advertising signs I am planning listing.
