As found. Vintage brass Buckeye gas pump nozzle and 1" white cloth hose with brass fittings, 10' long. Nozzle is uncleaned and does have a few small paint spots and dirt. The nozzle seams to operate properly, the valve makes a nice pop when it closes, but the gasket is untested. The hose is marked USR Co. 1" Made in USA. The lever still moves back& forth easily when you squeeze the handle. There are a few places with light rust, otherwise, not too bad of condition. About 20 years ago. I went to a farm estate sale in the hills of Monmouth Oregon. The older gentleman worked for the railroad and drug home every cast-off fitting and component imaginable. This Buckeye gas pump nozzle was unearthed in a massive pile of brass scrap. It was in great condition other than the spout.which was crushed. And so was I. BUT, it now has an exact duplicate spout. The only difference is that the original was flared into the mounting nut.the replacement ... moreis soldered to the nut. Below the embossed"Buckeye" is the number: 3/4(photo#5) The handle is numbered: 2199-4(photos#4& 5) The number 2302 is stamped on the base(photo#6) The body is 4-3/4" x 3-3/8" The spout is 5-3/4" long. Tokheim 1063 Gas Pump Nozzle, Rebuilt 1960 and never used
My dad opened a roadside Texaco station in 1949 and sold gas into the 1970s. This Tokheim 1063 nozzle is likely one of the original ones that came with his model 39 pumps. I believe it was replaced, sent in for rebuilding, kept as a spare, and never used again. It has been in a drawer for the last 50+ years. Tag shows it was inspected in 1960. Valve moves free, 3/4" pipe thread. The aluminum spout looks new, I suspect it was replaced during the rebuild. Maybe suitable for many Tokheim Pumps. NOTE- If you are looking for a pump to restore. The 2 Tokheim 39 short pumps were long ago dragged into the woodshed. I have one pump left. Reasonably complete, and the computer and exterior sheet metal panels from the other. Gasboy Gas Pump with Original Hose, Nozzle and Filter Case
Model 1820. Serial 714825, 1960`s? In good used condition, probably needs cleaning, etc. No dents in body, face is good, just needs polish. Some scratches to painted surface(but no dents or breaks to metal) Original nozzle also marked Gasboy. 12 foot hose(no cracks or leaks found) has the filter case that screws to back of pump(no filter) Because there is no plug-in on it, I pushed the wires into a socket only long enough to hear the motor hum. Please note: This pump exceeds USPS weight and must be shipped by some other method of YOUR choice. U.P.S. Fedex. Or? Crated pump will weigh approx. 65-70 lbs. You can check for your own shipping costs. I will crate pump with 3/4 inch plywood for shipping and deliver to local terminal OR you can pick it up in Yuma. Arizona. Please be patient for shipping as I will not crate it up until you request ... moreme to do so. If you decide on local pickup I will hold up to 15 days and will refund you $ 25 upon p/u.
