Eco Tireflator Air Meter Pump Wall Mount 97 Restored Gas Station Works!!!!
I have a Eco 97 Tireflator Air Meter Air Pump. Its has been restored and in excellent condition. The sheetmetal. Wall mount and the housing frame has been sandblasted, primed and painted Porsche Red. It was sanded and buffed for a really nice paint job. There are a few nicks from putting it together but are very small and have been touched up. Has the original light kit in it and has been rewired and a new 15w bulb has been put in it for lighting it up. The meter itself has been calibrated and works within 1-2 lbs of air pressure when filling up your tire. Sometimes it right on what you dial up and other times it mite be 1-2 lbs of air pressure off, thats about as close as you can get one of these. The chrome is all new. This gas meter is lightly used but in good condition. It does require new sensors and a charger. The battery is good but it came with no charger when I purchased it. I have been charging this unit when working special operations. The meter new will run around 3000 to 5000 dollars depending on options. This is a great deal for currently used ops equipment. I am selling as is. Sensors will run around $500 to $600 from a reputable dealer but you may want to send it in for them to do the sensor changes because they can give you a certified calibration sheet on the unit. The person i got it from said it came from a Chevy Dealership and was always kept inside. It looks like it was to me and from the inside it looks very clean and not all rusty. I was told it worked the day it was taking down but i have never used it or tried it. All the trim on the outside is all original. Very cool old Air Meter from the 30s or 40s. Offered for your consideration is this old Vintage ECO air meter. This is an original Air Meter on Pedestal Stand. This is an Bennett Eco 98 1950's air meter.The old service stations had 2 or maybe even four gas pumps so those can be found if you really look hard enough however. Most service stations only had one of these if any, so they are harder to come by.I am selling this meter for restoration. This meter does appear to be 99% all there and would be a great project for somebody. I had every intention of restoring it myself however I just can not find the time. I will try to explain the condition to the best of my ability but please view the photos as they can say a thousand words and I can only say so many. Please click on the arrows next to the photos to view through all photos. It appears to have all of the interior workings as ... morewell as all the exterior parts. The crank on the side may be a replacement as I thought they were different than this one however there is a website that I will list at the bottom of this listing were you can get all the parts you will need. It does exhibit some surface corrosion in areas however it only appears to be surface and the body metal all looks nice and straight. This air meter appears to have been brush painted most likely many years ago and will need stripped. The pole exhibits a 2" ding that will need hammered out. The interior workings look pretty good for their age. The outer steel plate and other steel parts on the interior workings show surface corrosion however, when I looked behind it the brass was all looking as good as it did all those years ago. The galvanized support pipe that runs up inside of the base pole exhibits some damage to one of the threaded ends and will most likely need replaced. The"AIR" glass looks good free of cracks. The 2 number porcelain plate exhibits some surface corrosion. The numbers reel looks great and all the number are clean and clear. The numbers turn smoothly when the crank is turned which, is half the battle. The

It stands about 16" tall overall and 7 X 12" It weighs about 13# all by itself so the weight would be right for a lamp base.
