Has a in line t-filter type 95s6 5000 psi max pressure filter. Regulating valve directly downstream, then a air outlet. The assembly also has a flow meter setup on the same bracket with inlet and outlet for a flow meter, this would allow you to use the regulating valve to adjust your cfm flow. The flow meter is of unknown type. The Balston filter housing has a built in bypass system to blow off line or just to bypass, it is regulated by a valve. This system is setup for high pressure. We have more than one of these setups in very similar condition with the same Balston filter on each but the threaded connections into and out of the flow meter are ... moredifferent size connections. All include bypass, flow meter, regulating valve, and square casing that the filter is installed on. The replaceable filters are in unknown condition and most likely will need to be replaced to insure correct working condition. Old Roots Gas Meter Model 8C125 - Citizens gas Coke Utility
For your bidding pleasure I offer an old Roots Turbine Gas Meter. Model# 8C125. Serial#8270822. Manufactured by The Dresser measurement division of Houston Texas. It was utilized in the Indianapolis Indiana area by Citizens Gas/ Coke Utility. I obtained this pump from an individual who had retired for Citizens gas after 30 years of service. He told me a story as to how he came to have this pump. I will relate this story now to you. It is the only information that I have concerning this pump other than what you see in the pictures. The individual I got it from was called out concerning a business having a problem with their gas service. The business was a bar in Indianapolis called the Slippery Noodle. To get to the gas meter in question the man had to go into the basement of the building and then into a tunnel that extended under the street. ... morethere he found this pump and replaced it with a new one. He took the pump back to"the shop" and later purchased it for a couple dollars as employees were allowed to do with unusable equipment. He wanted the pump because he had never seen one like it before. He later learned that it was a prototype from Germany and that only ten had ever been brought to the United States. If you Google the Slippery Noodle in Indianapolis you will find an interesting story all it's own. As for the rest. It was his story I am only telling you what I was told. Here is a nice 1940s 1950s eco air meter. This air meter was being used in a garage showroom for a few years. It lights up and told it still works. It was hooked up on the wall when I bought it while back. The unit is painted red and displays nicely. Lights up and is great shape. The chrome is nice, does have pits, original parts. Just a nice unit, its not a perfect restoration but one that displays and can be used as it. Check out the pictures and see what you think. For sale is a vintage Duncan Parking Meter. This is one of a kind. I will not make another like this. Please read this entire description before asking any questions. This beauty is done in the Chevy Camaro theme. All Chevy emblems are genuine GM products. Perfect for any garage. inside or out. Mancave as well. This meter was completely taken apart. Sandblasted and sprayed with 2-3 mL of industrial enamel. Both locks are original and work perfect and come with key. The timer accepts nickels. Dimes and quarters, at 1 hour per 5, two hours and 5 hours 25 cents. Locks are also original to the meter and come with a key for both. The top flips open. This unit does not come with the stand. ABOUT 2 YEARS) THIS METER HAS A 2 HR MECHANISM THAT ACCEPT NICKELS AND DIMES. 30 MIN FOR NICKEL 1 HR FOR A DIME THE PICTURES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES! THIS METER STILL HAS IT'S ORIGINAL 2 LOCKS. IT COMES WITH 1 KEY THAT OPENS BOTH LOCKS. YOU NEED THE KEY TO WORK THE LOCKS. I DID NOT REMOVE THE TUMBLERS. ALSO INCLUDED IS THE 3 FOOT STAND. THE 12" BASE IS IN-CASED IN CONCRETE AND HAS A RUBBER RING AROUND THE BOTTOM. PLEASE USE PICTURES AS PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. Antique Texaco Red Gas Pump *RARE* 1950s Bowser meter service station oil
I will help arrange shipping but winning bidder is responsible for shipping costs. I like to use"Freighters and Craters. Antique Texaco Gas Pump*RARE* 1950s. You can still see the star on the front Texaco Logo emblem. This peice probably belongs in a vintage gas station man cave garage. I opened up the panels(1 screw each) and was surprised to find everything intact. I pulled on the belt and the motor turned freely. I did not start the motor but it still has the electrical wires. The original pump motor belt is still in place and functional. You can restore this to the bright red original Texaco pump or leave it as is with it's great patina. The pump is about 40 inches tall +8 inches for the digital display meter. The pump is about 20 inches wide + 6 inches for the nozzle. The pump is about 15 inches deep plus 3 inches for the hose ... morehanger. Weight is about 200 pounds. The motor has a plate manufactured by Leland of Dayton Ohio. The meter gage digital display is manufactured by Bowser of Fort Wayne.
