VINTAGE CIRCA 1899 NASH GAS ENGINE 20 HP NATIONAL METER CO BRASS BUILDERS PLATE. MEASURES 3-1/2" X 7-1/2"After being with the National Meter Company for seven years. Nash began the study of the gas engine and subsequently received sixty or more patents covering their design and operation. Many of them were extensively used by engine manufacturers, including the two cycle engine with piston controlled valves. Another patent covered the starting of gas engines by the use of compressed air, and this feature was adopted by all makes of large gas engines. The National Meter Company built the Nash engine in sizes up to about 400 horsepower. These engines were used in municipal electric lighting and pumping plants as well as for general power purposes. Probably the largest installation of the Nash Engine was at the Phoenix Tube Company ... morein Brooklyn, and consisted of two Nash Gas Engines, totaling 500 horsepower, operating on producer gas. The engines were directly connected to dynamos and although they operated under violently fluctuating load conditions, they ran well, both in regulation and economy modes. Approx 40" tall the body is about 17" x 17" There is a number stamped on the pump part 116 d3739 The chrome trim around the top has been painted over. This one differs from my other listing in this category because it is not air operated. Hand pump works. Comes with several gallons of 90 wt gear oil. The part you see actually lifts off the base. Vintage ECO 98 Air Meter TIREFLATOR Service Station Advertising Sign Gas Pump Oil DESCRIPTION: Presented for your consideration is this Vintage ECO 98 Air Meter"TIREFLATOR" This is an original Air Meter on its original Pedestal Stand. The old service stations had 2 or maybe even four gas pumps. So those can be found if you really look hard enough however, most service stations only had one of these if any, so they are harder to come by. This machine would have sat out front of an old service station and since they were introduced in 1947, they would have serviced customers throughout the 1950's. If you are in search of a virgin original ECO air meter to mold into your own this is the perfect candidate. This air meter appears to be 99% complete and with a little work, it would make a very nice addition to any collection. This ... moremeter features its original internal mechanism that still responds, because when the crank is turned on the side, the numbers turn accordingly. It still retains its original light bulb socket and I even think the original light bulb is still inside. The glass face is intact and the porcelain dial is free of damage. It also still retains its original"ECO" name plate affixed to the back panel that states this is a model 98. It appears that someone has repainted it tan at some point in its life but, the original red still shows through in areas and I am sure a new refinishing would do wonders for this machine. The only missing piece is the small access plate that allows access to the base at the very bottom. It was just a curved piece of painted steel and I am sure even the most non mechanically inclined individual could fashion this part from a piece of steel. This meter was found in the back of an old barn and it does exhibit surface rust in areas however, it is only surface. I took a piece of steel wool to one area of the internal mechanism and it cleaned up nicely. The chrome trim pieces do exhibit wear associated with age such as pitting and loss to the chrome and a

RKI GX2003 4 Gas Meter The RKI Instruments GX-2003 is built around RKI's high-quality micro-sensor technology. And is RKI’s smallest gas monitor with a built in sample pump and weighs only 11 ounces. It can monitor the standard confined space gases(LEL combustibles, oxygen deficiency, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulfide) and dynamically displays either%LEL or%volume with its auto-ranging ability. The GX-2003’s large LCD display shows all 4 gas readings. Battery level, current time, and will automatically backlight in alarm conditions. Each channel has 2 adjustable alarm levels in addition to TWA and STEL readings for carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide. The TWA and STEL readings are equipped with a lunch-break(pause) mode, which prevent the average readings from being reset when the unit is turned off. Standard alarm types include ... morevibration, visual and audible alarms that can be set to latching or non-latching. Controlled by a microprocessor, the GX-2003 continuously checks itself for sensor connections, low battery, circuit trouble, low flow, and calibration errors. The GX-2003 can operate on either a rechargeable Ni-MH pack or 3 AA alkaline batteries. The batteries are simple to replace, requiring no tools to access the battery compartment. Vintage TEXACO Sky Chief Gilbarco CALCO-METER Model 996A1L Electric Gas Pump
Up for auction is an original GILBARCO(Gilbert& Barker) Model 996A1L Electric Gas Pump that has been made into a TEXACO Sky Chief"Ethyl" gas pump. This pump comes with a period-correct nozzle and a new hose. The metal and skins have a few dents in them and the doors have a couple of wrinkles and do not fit real well(see the pictures) But the pump is in fair condition considering that it is 60 plus years old. The site glasses are new, and the globe on top is a reproduction and has been made to light up. The inner pump has been removed. This pump stands about six feet tall in overall height with the globe on top. Although not a professional restoration. And the paint has a few runs, the paint and colors are very vibrant. All in all, this is a very attractive pump. The last picture is of several pumps that we have for sale at the ... moretime of this listing being posted on eBay. This pump belongs to Mr. Kenneth Boyd of Roosevelt. Oklahoma. And he is the one who found it.
