It should be a match for the late 1980's and newer 286. 287& 288 lanterns that have the bail attached to the ventilators. Up for auction today is a fuel or gas tank for the LA and LB engines. This one is for the smaller 1 1/2- 2 1/2 hp size. Comes with cap. Top is in good shape with just one small ding as seen in the pictures. The bottom does have some holes. Holes along with the rust inside the tank will need to be fixed and cleaned before use. This tank is for those who want to keep the original look tank on their engines. With a little repair you could have a good tank on your engine.
