The condition is excellent.the large brass connection looks like corrosion but is just some dusty gunk I missed when I cleaned it. Will clean up perfectly. Does not appear this nozzle has ever been used.no wrench marks on the fittings and visible signs of wear. I have marked it as used because it is out of original packing. I am selling this nozzle as is. I have included close up photos of all markings/numbering. The outlet end is 1 1/2" I.D. The large brass threaded end is 1 3/4" I.D. It comes with a 1.5" nozzle and several lengths of 1.5" hose. Some of these hoses still have the plastic wrap on them. it also comes with a Y adapter for adding more hoses to dispense fuel. Found on a high shelf in the back of an old farm equipment barn is this Factory Rebuilt OPW brand model 1A Fil-o-matic Automatic Shut Off fuel nozzle. The barn's contents are part of a ranch estate sale. Located in a very rural ranching and farming area of central Texas, and it appears that this nozzle has been on the barn shelf, in its' original box with(the remains of- see photos) the documentation/instructions for a very, very long time. First of all. The condition of the box, and more especially the insect munched paperwork took some time to achieve. Also, the paperwork is dated 1972. For a forty year old piece of equipment, it is in unused condition- looks perfect. see the photos! We just wiped the dust off with a red shop rag. same thing with the box(much dirtier, of course) including a mud dauber nest. The nozzle business end(dispensing) ... moremeasures 3/4" ID and 7/8" OD. The pipe fitting turns smoothly and the visible internals are clean and bright. The label reads: Listed Rebuilt interchangeable Service Station Type Hose Nozzle Valve For Flammable Liquids. 756H. BRASS EBW 1 1/4" Fuel Gas Pump Handle Nozzle 410 in used but good condition. Main body is cast aluminum and Nozzle. Trigger, and couple large nuts are solid brass.
