W.M. Bashlin climbing harrness
I have made thousands of dollars trimming trees with this belt although I believe this was made for electrical pole climbing. But works just fine for tree climbing as well. Bashlin DB14 Aluminum Pole Climbing Gaffs Spikes & 105BC Angled C Pads
Bashlin Alcoa DB14 aluminum pole climbers with short gaffs. Rubberized nylon straps and 105BC Angled leather leather pads with rigid steel inserts and felt lining. These pads are very comfortable when on a pole for a long time. The gaffs/ spikes measure approx 1 7/8" The yellow gaff protectors are Baslin B1972G. They're quick and easy to take on and off the gaffs. These climbers are used. I bought them used several years a go, and only used them a few times. They've been stored in my garage. They're in good condition with some wear and scratches that would be typical for a pair of pole climbers that have been used. There is some light surface rust on the ankle strap buckles, loops, and on the gaffs. The leather loops on the ankle straps have some cracks. The rubberized nylon straps are OK, though. The buyer may want to replace ... morethe ankle straps. Replacement are available from Bashlin for around $30. Please see my large pictures for more details on the condition of this item. I'm selling them because I don't use them any more and they're just taking up space. Only the pole climbers shown in the pictures are included in this sale. Nothing else is included. Vintage pair of W.M. Bashlin Tree/Pole Climbing Gaffs. These gaffs have been used and they show signs of moderate to heavy use. The have rust. Scratches etc. and could use a good cleaning. size on gaffs reads: 14 3/4-18 1/2. On gaffs reads: WM Bashlin Bell System 1970. Please look at photos carefully and decide for yourself. I believe there is still a lot of use left in these gaffs.

Klein Pole Climbers with Bashlin Pads Utility Pole ClimbIng Gear
This is a nice set of Klein Climbers. The gaffs are 1 1/2 inches and in good condition with only one significant nick. Both leather ankle straps have a lot of life left in them. There are some cracks in the top grain of the leather on one strap. The buckles will certainly outlast the leather. The climber shafts are slightly bowed so the top sleeve won't adjust all the way in. They are adjustable from 15 3/4 to 19 1/2 inches as measured from the bottom of the stirrup to the top of the sleeve. I'm not sure I would stretch them out that far though. They aren't twisted at all. The pads are Bashlin 140-DS with padding. The stitching is still good. Some thread ends have pulled out and there is that scuff I mentioned in the condition description on the inside of the one pad. All in all. These climbers are in real good shape and will ... moregive many more years of safe, reliable service. Bashlin Lineman's Belt, Floridian 88, D21, 6 ft. Pole Strap, Klein Parts Bag
There's something about high quality leather work. And Bashlin has got it with their Floridian 88 lineman's belt. This belt is in great shape. There is some wear and tear through out. But nothing I can see that would affect safety. Durability, performance or even the looks of this belt. It is a size D21 and is 32 1/2 to 42 1/2 inches long, measured from the inside of the buckle to the prong holes. The pole strap also in great shape. It is 6 ft long made of latigo leather reinforced with nylon. The snaps both work well with plenty of spring. The belt itself shows some wear. But nothing serious. There's also a Klein 5142-P parts bag. The seam along one side of the inner pocket is about half ripped out. But, the bag itself is good, made of heavy canvas. The bottom is lined with leather that has a grommeted drain hole. This is used ... moregear. If you take it up a pole. It's your choice. Still, this is top quality gear in good condition. I expect it to give many years of safe, reliable service.

Up for auction is a Bashline Model 88 linemans belt& Klein 5295 positioning belt. Size on the 88 is D21 and the positioning belt only shows a 5 space 8 after the model. In decent used shape with no rips or tears. This item was purchased as part of an auction lot so unsure of previous usage or age. The Klein belt says 9/85 for date of issue. 1950-60's era LINEMAN POLE CLIMBERS Wm. Bashlin Co. Grove City. PA Vintage pair of LINEMAN POLE CLIMBERS. These were from an estate where the gentleman worked for the telephone company as a lineman during the 1950-60's era. Made by Wm. Bashlin Company. Of Grove City, PA. This appears on both ends of a ll the leather straps. The climbers themselves and the spurs are in excellent shape. The leather is fine, except on the Left climber. the bottom one piece of leather that retains the strap has pulled out from where it should be tucked in by the buckle. Heavy leather; triple layered where it contacts the calf of the leg. Stamped are"R" and"L" for proper foot placement. Please enlarge all pictures to see the condition and details the best.
