A right plastic side, a metal ring, and the black plastic ball that scres on top. It is not unusual for the handle sides to fatigue over time, for someone to pull too hard and break the handle, or for the handle to be dropped and broken during cleaning. What breaks are the plastic side pieces, but you usually still have a good metal ring and the black plastic ball. With this purchase you will receive only the left and right plastic handle pieces- you must have the black knob and metal ring to make a complete handle. You can puchase an entire new handle, but if you have the ring and knob you will save yourself a bit of cash by purchasing this kit instead. To replace the broken sides unscrew the remaining broken pieces from the black ball. Remove the metal ring, put the two new pieces together and place your metal ring over the new side pieces, then screw on your black plastic ball. You're ready to go in a couple of minutes, saving about ten dollars over a complete new handle. Each purchase includes one left side piece and one right side piece for a white CDS faucet handle- again, you must supply the metal ring and black plastic ball to have a complete handle. The technically correct way to install these handles is to disassemble them(unscrew the ball. Remove the metal ring, separate the halves) then reassemble the parts around the dowel pin. And would be accomplished by an EPA-certified refrigeration technician as part of a repair or overhaul of your machine's refrigeration system. The kit includes a new plunger tube assembly. Plunger, plunger spring, plunger tube assembly gasket, spacer, and retainer clip. An illustrated instruction sheet is also included. Luckily, this is one of only two Bunn machines that has rebuildable valves. Save yourself lots of cash and labor by rebuilding a valve rather than replacing it($170 for parts only to replace the entire valve) The refrigeration solenoid is an electrically-operated valve that allows the machine's main computer to send refrigerant independently to each of the two evaporators(cooling tubes) in the CDS-2 hoppers. The plunger is spring-loaded and acts like the gate in the valve. An electric coil surrounds the plunger. When there is no electricity sent to the coil. The spring pushes the plunger into the closed position, preventing Freon from going into the cooling tube. When the main computer sends electricity to the coil it creates a magnetic field and the solenoid is pulled up, allowing Freon to flow into the cooling tube. In this way, one refrigeration system can be used to cool two separate zones, and regulation of each zone(hopper) is independent of the other. One of the improvements in the Ultra machines was a change to the hopper that locks the hopper down. Preventing customers from lifting up or bumping and dislodging the hoppers(it's a massive mess when it happens) This kit retrofits the CDS machines to provide a simple latching mechanism to prevent the hoppers from being accidentally lifted up and dislodged away from their mountings when they are full of product. This kit should install in about twenty minutes. A hole is drilled into the upper drip tray and a strap is secured with a screw. Another hole is drilled in the bottom of the hopper(below the product container) and a locking pin is pushed through the strap and into the hole. A tie attaches the locking pin to the machine to prevent the hopper from being displaced. The kit includes all of the needed parts. Detailed illustrated instructions and even two new sharp drill bits. All you need is a drill motor(battery powered or plug-in) to spin the drill bits to bore the two holes and a phillips screwdriver to install the screw. If you have ever had a CDS hopper lifted and dislodged during operation while it is filled with product. You know about the giant mess, the giant cleanup(including inside the machine) and maybe an unhappy customer. This piece goes on the back of the machine and covers the auger motor. Torque sensor board, temperature probe, and evaporator back mounting plate. They usually break when dropped, when someone gets overly intense on torquing the screws, or when removing improperly. These covers have two screws on the top and two plastic tabs on the bottom. The proper way to remove them is to remove the two screws on the top and then slide the cover straight back- do not lean the top of the cover back and pull- you will break off the two bottom mounting tabs. Replacement takes only a few minutes and requires a flat blade screwdriver. Remove the old cover. Set the new cover in place, push the tabs on the bottom into the notches, make sure the corner metal piece is under the plastic cover, and then slide firmly into place so it lines up with the back mounting plate. Screw in the two screws, but do not overtighten them! Remember that unlike others. Iced coffee drinks, etc. Last used during the summer of 2013 selling fresh lemonade slushies from a food stand at the beach. Online manual at Bunn.com Machine drips a black liquid once in a while from back corner; Refrigeration company& I took apart all covers to inspect and we cannot pin point location. But possibly from gear box however drip does not affect the ice cold operation. Timer that controls automatic night shut down operation does not work but a new one can be bought new from Bunn for $110.
