Decreasing their filtration capability. Unlike the competitors, we accept returns and have a record of years of superb customer service. Is an extra week of waiting and taking a chance on a used or generic item with no factory support or ability to return it worth saving a couple of bucks? Like any refrigerator. Freezer, or air conditioner the Bunn CDS and Ultra machines have a refrigerant system that includes a condenser. The condenser is the part at the back of the machine that has the silver fins and the copper pipes going in and out of the sides(it looks like the radiator in your car) The refrigerant(Freon) is pumped through the condenser and a fan blows over the fins so the heat in the Freon can be removed. The Freon essentially transfers the heat from the cooling drums(the evaporators) to the condenser where it is released into the room- that's how the cooling drums get cold enough to freeze the product in the hoppers. The condenser fan(inside the machine) pulls air through the condenser where the air picks up the heat and blows it out through the slots in the side panels of the machine. 2 Hoppers. 110 Volt, Gets cold nice& fast. Great for selling summer frozen lemonade slushy. Iced coffee drinks, etc. Last used during the summer of 2013 selling fresh lemonade slushies from a food stand at the beach. Online manual at Bunn.com Machine drips a black liquid once in a while from back corner; Refrigeration company& I took apart all covers to inspect and we cannot pin point location. But possibly from gear box however drip does not affect the ice cold operation. Timer that controls automatic night shut down operation does not work but a new one can be bought new from Bunn for $110.
