When we tested this unit it powered on without any problems. After about 15 seconds of being turned on both the stirrer arms inside ONE container began spinning. However the right container did NOT spin. We are not sure why this is or how to fix it. I bought this machine 2 years ago for personal use. But it is much higher capacity than what I need. It has been sitting in my garage for most all of that time. In 85 degree outside temp. I just froze this mango margarita in about 1hour 15 minutes. When I bought it. It had come out of a franchised restaurant chain and was said to be well maintained by certified technicians. Compressor sounds fine. Fan is quiet, and no bearing growl. Again, it is just more than what I need. I did not understand that these machines require certain things to be in place(water line. CO2, 220v power, etc. and you cannot just dump in water and mix and start it up. Because I purchased it at auction. I do not know the machine's history, but I do know it was in a location where it was serviced by the ICEE Company at some point. ICEE verified this but could not give me any other information. I powered on the unit and the display turned on and I was able to scroll through the various menu items. I do not know anything other than this as I do not have syrup. Co2 etc. to test with. I know at the very least it will need to be flushed/cleaned before use. The compressor looks to be newer than ... moreeverything else in the unit, but I cannot say for sure if it has been replaced. This unit was manufactured by the FBD company for Lancer. The cabinet is in pretty good condition with some dings and scrapes on the sides. Overall it is in good condition. But definitely shows signs of use.
