For sale one: used Wiltron 6647A Programmable Sweep RF microwave Generator 10MHz-18.6GHz Op 3 GP-IB/IEEE 488 The only thing included here with this generator is the AC cord and nothing else. I use it for some of my tests at 2Ghz band and works fine for me. It looks very clean, it pass the self test. This unit is used and may have some scratche and normal wear. But in general looks good) I did some other basic tests and all look good. As you see in pictures with a spectrum analyzer and frequency counter.both are for sale in my other auctions also) I can't test every detail function of this machine now. Wiltron 6223D Sweep Oscillator Plug-In 4-12.4 GHz for 610D Mainframe TESTED
I have a pile of Wiltron stuff I got years ago and used in my lab. Replace when I got something a little newer. Its a shame to see this stuff just sitting when someone could use it! This is a plug-in module for the Wiltron 610D sweeper, although it would probably work fine in a 610B or C. This module, type 6223D covers 4-12.4 GHz. I checked this and it makes +5 dBm across the range, I used my spec. an. in store mode and then plotted the power output chart, which you can see in the pic. This unit uses two Avantek YIG oscillators, a 4-8 GHz and a 8-12.4 GHz(worth alone what I ask) with a PIN diode switch to very rapidly select between then. The output level of the 8-12 is not as flat as the 4-8 and I suspect the switch bias circuit is the culprit for poor flatness, not the YIG, and the unit still makes over 5 dBm across the band. Reason I say ... morethis is that YIGs of this type and vintage usually die completely, not with power like this. I also have other bands and some mainframes. So if you are in the market, just ask. The 610 sweeper mainframe is interesting in that it has a mode, set by internal switch, called the"8410" mode which means it puts out a sweep reference voltage for the HP 8410 series of Microwave vector network analyzers so this sweeper is HP8410A/B/C compatible!
